Hi James can you answer this please when doing a condition report what standard do you inspect to the time the installation was installed so if installed 2010 you would use 17th edition or would you use the most recent ie 18th edition amd 2 for coding
Hi Stephen, Thanks for your question. I talk about this in a previous video. Please see the link ruclips.net/video/fE13tzn67G8/видео.html Regards James
Hi James, may you do videos on supplementary bonding if you haven’t already (why and where you would need it) Also could you do one on isolating transformers ( shaver sockets) and give a dummies explanation on how they stop you getting a shock, if you have contact with earth then surely there is a potential difference so I can’t understand how you don’t receive a shock? Also does it make a difference if the shaver socket is a metallic one as you could then be touching the earth of the circuit surely resulting in a shock? Thanks
@James Curnow thank you for your reply ill be watching as always looks like regs can be bent to come to a decision for a pass on a condition report napit state's C2 and I personally think that this should be. If you now doing a new design for a circuit then this would not be allowed. So on a condition report the outcome should be the same. Can't have two different opinions on the same circuit design. Cheers looking forward to watching the video on Sunday

Hi, thank you for your question. I'm planning to do a Q&A video tomorrow, and I will be happy to talk about supplementary bonding.
