Edit: This video is genuinely gorgeous. The way the sounds for the mushrooms were recorded, the integration of the tech closet into the tree; so many marriages of form and function. ♥

Can you imagine if every city had an abandoned superstore or mall that was transformed into experiences like this? I was blown away by Meow Wolf last week when we visited NM. I can't wait to see the other locations and want an interactive experience like this close to my home so I can visit and be inspired as often as I'd like.
Can I just say how unreasonably happy it makes me seeing these videos and hearing the artists complain/explain how much work was put into them? I feel so validated as an artist for the way I complain about the process during the process but at the same time being so happy to see it come to life that "i'm not actually all that pissed i'm just a little annoyed." vibe g0d

The forest was definitely my favorite part there. I felt so happy and comfortable; it's so impressive what all these artists are capable of when they come together and have so many ideas! I'm beyond impressed with how they never managed to give up even through all the bumps and struggles. Truly amazing.
This process looks like a labor of love and innovation. The intent of the individuals shinesin the process of teamwork and common goals
I could be in that part, all day, and probably curl up, for a nap, in one spot.

Tbh, I wonder what a whole meow wolf Theme park would be like, and not just a dark ride or walk through experience
