This episode means a lot to me. My Nan loved OFAH so we played the audio of 'Cwying' at her funeral. I've never seen so many people at once trying not to laugh including the vicar! Brilliant piece of television.
As Stephen Fry said in a conversation about the difference in UK vs US comedy; America's comedy heroes are all wise guys who get the girl and improve their life etc while Britain embraces the undignified characters whom life endlessly craps on. Delboy is a perfect example of that.
I can remember sitting on the floor near the telly when this was first on,, as I was the remote control, and being sprayed with tea from my dad laughing so much at cwying, oh happy days, he's been gone nearly 20 years now, and I miss him everyday.
This is one of those legendary eps, you'll always remember. I've seen it a million times and watched it air and I still find it just as good and classic as back then
One of my faves and never fails to make me laugh. Watch Rodney’s knowing smirk as Del is smiling away proudly just before the first hit of “cwyyyyyyyiiiinngg”!
That subtle flip where an increasingly annoyed Raquel tries to correct Tony’s pwonunciation mid-song only for it to backfire and have her accidentally sing “cw...crying.” instead 🤣
As someone with dyspraxia who has been to speech therapy the thing I love about this is episode is that Tony is not the butt of the Joke. and his voice isn't the Joke it's the fact that Del promised a gangster a great show and ended up with Tony.
Revisiting this today I needed to see you laughing to my favourite programme in the world. My dad is dying of cancer and I really needed this laugh today thankyou and god bless you ❤️🙏🙏
One of my favourite eps, so great to see you watching it without you knowing what was coming! Tony is a fantastic character and Raquel does a great job playing the straight one on stage. Love it 😀
You'll just never forget that, and when you hear the song... You will automatically just go "Cwying over you", honestly, you just cannot help yourself once it's in there! :D ;) hehehe
When he took his top off and you realise he is such a low level earner. That he could only stain a large V so the clothes hid the rest. Just perfect writing right there! It's a massive relief we can all still enjoy this classic!
Rodney stares at the sign because it’s where him and Cassandra had the first dance… and the joke about quicker by tube.. meaning the London Underground
Definitely one of my favorite episodes for this season - the next 2 episodes were very funny too but the last one of the season was hilarious. Definitely an episode about Uncle Albert to come which I thought was such a great episode
Fantastic reaction which had me cwy-laughing! 🤣 Something is bugging me though about a line that I remember as something different. When Del Boy is talking about Rodney's absence in government records, he said "But where's Rodney gonna say he's been for the last 10 Years? In the toilet?" Except, that was NOT the line! " In the toilet" is supposed to be "on safari... (in Kenya?)"! Wierd change!
I always thought "Tony" might have been partly based on John Otway - another singing dustman with more enthusiasm than talent, who went bald fairly early, and who sometimes impersonates Tom Jones (badly) - but his only speech impediment is a slight lisp, no rhotacism. Anyway Phil Pope's talent as a singing impressionist is well-documented - he was one of the musical parodists behind Spitting Image, and he was one of the HeeBeeGeeBees.
Have you seen the 1974 film 'Blazing Saddles' ? The character Lili Von Shtupp, is played by Madeline Kahn, with that same speech impediment. "Oh a wed wose! How womantic".

That brilliant x
I bet your Nan was laughing at that lol
That’s amazing
@@moonramshaw1982 I like to think so :)
What a fabulous sense of humour your nan must’ve had! That’s brilliant 😂
As Stephen Fry said in a conversation about the difference in UK vs US comedy; America's comedy heroes are all wise guys who get the girl and improve their life etc while Britain embraces the undignified characters whom life endlessly craps on. Delboy is a perfect example of that.
I mean Delboy is still a wiseguy who gets the girl and improves his life, just there's a LOT of self inflicted obstacles along the way. :P
I can remember sitting on the floor near the telly when this was first on,, as I was the remote control, and being sprayed with tea from my dad laughing so much at cwying, oh happy days, he's been gone nearly 20 years now, and I miss him everyday.
That is a nice memory, thanks for sharing =]
This is one of those legendary eps, you'll always remember. I've seen it a million times and watched it air and I still find it just as good and classic as back then
It is such a good episode bud I really enjoyed it =]
I'll be cwying...
Crying.
Cwyyyingg!
Crying.
Cwyinnng!
Cwy..crying.
Haha love that part, classic episode!
The sausage always cracks me up, such clever writing, superb acting and perfect timing, John Sullivan was a genius
The fake tan line for me 😂
My favourite bit is Rodney saying "Medley of Wock and Woll" 😂😂
Yep still just as funny every time you watch it. Also love when Albert calls him out on the 600 quid and he's just like "you mouthy git" haha
One of my faves and never fails to make me laugh. Watch Rodney’s knowing smirk as Del is smiling away proudly just before the first hit of “cwyyyyyyyiiiinngg”!
This is a stone cold classic!
Only Fools and Horses at its best.
Agreed =]

This is in my top 3 favourite episodes of only fools, still makes me cwy with laughter 😂
Been watching repeats of this for 30 years.. Never forget Tony Angeleno.
Cwyyyying 😆 didn’t expect it at the time. Still catches me out every time I hear it
Revisiting this today I needed to see you laughing to my favourite programme in the world. My dad is dying of cancer and I really needed this laugh today thankyou and god bless you ❤️🙏🙏
Sending love to you and your family Paulie ❤
"The Gween Gween Gwass of Home" 🤣
This is really funny, one of my favourites. Our hosts laugh is infectious glad you enjoyed it too!
Elma Fudd! "I'm gonna find that wabbit..."
One of my favourite eps, so great to see you watching it without you knowing what was coming! Tony is a fantastic character and Raquel does a great job playing the straight one on stage. Love it 😀
You prune
They are actors NOT characters
Each time somebody sing the song Crying at a karaoke evening everybody sing Cwying.
This one is one of the funniest. The cwying scene is one of my favourite scenes. It’s a classic
You'll just never forget that, and when you hear the song... You will automatically just go "Cwying over you", honestly, you just cannot help yourself once it's in there! :D ;) hehehe

We have a talk show host here in the UK called Jonathan Ross who has a similar speech impediment. He’s also known as “Wossy”.
Rodney stares at the sign because it’s where him and Cassandra had the first dance… and the joke about quicker by tube.. meaning the London Underground
Brilliant episode “Cwying” 🤣🤣🤣
one of my favourite episodes, however my all time fav is the blow up dolls
Definitely one of my favorite episodes for this season - the next 2 episodes were very funny too but the last one of the season was hilarious. Definitely an episode about Uncle Albert to come which I thought was such a great episode
I still cry with laughter with this episode lo.
*cwy with laughter

A golden handshake is when you start a job. A golden parachute is when you leave a job. Nice work if you can get it.
Interesting, thanks bud.
Just in case you didn't get the reference at 13:40, Mattessons is a sausage brand over here in England.
Thanks bud =]
Golden Handshake. A payment given to an employee who is about to made redundant or retired.
Thanks bud.
Fantastic reaction which had me cwy-laughing! 🤣

Well, there's been lots of revisionism/censorship applied to this show.
The character you are thinking of who cannot pronounce r might be Barry in The Big Bang Theory.
Tony always leaves us Cwying
Love this episode & reaction, cheers Josh 👏🏻👏🏻👍😂🤣🇬🇧
Managed to drop the first like. Great episode, Killed me laughing. =D
10:55 her angry face and the extra exaggerated pronunciation of the 'r' to his face, as if teaching him lmao
Not sure if someone has mentioned this one or not but you should react to “Derry girls” it’s set in Northern Ireland in the 90s and it’s hilarious!
On a side note this is where Raquel looked her best on stage.
Easily the funniest episode of series 7 for me, a lot of the facial expressions are brilliant too.
Put 'Home to Roost' on your list. Hilarious.
there's a handful of OFAH moments people always quote, "cwying" is one of them, classic moment lol

Feel better soon matey, looking forward to watching this x
I think the character you're trying to remember who has the same speech impediment is Elmer Fudd.
Love this episode probably one of the best! Will you be reacting to any more Friday Night Dinner Josh?
Look after yourself Josh❤
Thank you =]
You are pwobably thinking of Pontius Pilate fwom Life of Bwian!
I've got Night of the Demons on VHS. Great taste AWR...
Just to funny, my Lungs.....🤣🤣🤣😝😝😝
A golden handshake is a bribe
It's not, it's a payment to someone retiring from work, it's a payment to say thank you
Great episode. Wish there was a little more video just before Tony started singing, makes for a build up & bigger laugh.
The full reaction is in the description
Jonathan Woss I mean Ross as a similar problem, didn't hold him back.
I love this episode 💯👏🏼 Full of hilarious gems 💎 Hope you get well soon
Philip Pope is brilliant. Check out his band The HeeBeeGeeBees; great parodies
Cwying.... iconic in UK
J'adore ton t-shirt "Night of the Demons". J'ai vu ce film il y a longtemps ! Content de voir que ça fait encore peur aujourd'hui.....
The show you're trying to recall is The Big Bang Theory. Barry couldn't pronounce his r's
Jonathan Ross is who you meant, or as he says woss 😂
Nice one, I've been waiting on this one.
My favourite episode

Wibbly wobbly 2 eggs
Cwying 😂
Matalan is a UK discount fashion retailers.
I think you might mean Pontious Pilot from The Life of Brian. 🤣
Still no joy on Office 3x2 yet then?
Also, any timeline for The Young Ones?!
Boys from the Blackstuff was another UK programme, it was a drama I think.
Yup classic show that. 1982. However, there is a prequel set in the North East.
@@stuartryan610 Whats the prequel called if you don't mind me asking?
@@phillipcarlroberts4640 it's called The Black Stuff. A film made in 1980. The series boys from is a follow up but done as a series.
It used to be on here but no more
I knew the guy who plays eric the nightclub owner
Barry Kripke from The Big Bang Theory has the same speech impediment.
Was it Pilate you were thinking of in “ life of Bwian”?
“My father was a Roman”
“A woman?”
“No no, “”ROMAN””
Stwike him, centuwion, vewwy woughly
Tewefic episode. One of my favowits.
Hey Josh i just wanted to say you are my favorite reaction person on youtube 😂🤣 great video as always my friend.
Pilate from the ' biggus dickus ' scene from Life of Brian.
This is the final season with only 7 remaining episodes.

Kripke from The Big Bang Theory

Comedy gold
Let's jus hope they don't make an American version of only fools and horses
There are many versions. The BBC flogged the rights to anyone who had money. There is a Spanish version.
