I don't know if you are into Modular synth jams that last over an hour but you should give this a go.

Reminds me of a summers eve in Mykonos when I was 15 with the waves crashing and the moon coming up and partying all night long until the sun joined us. Continued for another amazing night dancing in the ocean while lost in the beat of the music. Ahh to go back in time again would be so amazing to be young again with not a care in the world. Now I’m older and miss my youth.

you have to have a truly specialized mind to create this. what i mean by that is you have to be truly cognizant of the science behind every patch, every knob, but also in touch enough to be rythmic and primal... you can see on his face that he is not even present in the room. he entered the matrix.

Tried to explain what's happening here to my wife. I wish they gave a 101 explanation on synths because it's 20x more impressive when you realize it's all analog.
It's not 100% analog, especially the sequencing is done digitally.
Reminds me of when I used to install cable in huge apartment complexs. The lockboxes would be jumbled as f$!# and unlabeled, so you would have to spend quite a bit of time digging thru that stuff to find the right apartment

You can. There is 100s of very cheap boxes for you to explore. Start with the apps on your phone "sauce" is superb and free

Reminds me of my first jam sesh on the Bass Station. So fun. So good. I wish I was good at modular and linking/knowing everything properly. I do love synthesis to the nth degree.

The real problem is that they tend to drift out of pitch as they warm up it is a real hassle . That wobble is nothing. It's in flight cases and designed to be moved
in the "bottom-up" camera angle you can see that the two cases are actually latched together

How to use one sequence for more than one hour. Sometimes add a Kick, sometimes tweak a Filter, tweak an Envelope, tweak some Effects, make a Break here and there, and start the same process all over again. Musical notes and composition do not matter, sure and safe, but the "djing with a modular monster" that make the people say "wow, it's complicated!" is the whole stuff. As M. Mcluhan said, "the media is the message".
