@@BrettVaughnB100 Good morning Brett what are you doing up this early. I’m taking my breathing treatment like I do every morning. Have a blessed day my friend
PLEASE share all your vids, there are thousands of us who are disabled and the only outdoors adventure we get is with you on your show. Stay safe my friend. God Bless us all. 🙏 Amen
Thanks Thad for the support ... It think I will try and share some of these simple daily hunts like this for the members .. lightly edited but kinda shows what I do more often
I just found your channel this morning. I’m 61, haven’t ridden since my twenties. I grew up riding, camping on horseback, had three quarter horses through my teens but life has a way of separating you from what you love sometimes. I enjoy watching these videos of yours very much. But I wanted to say, my name is Lori and it makes me laugh out loud every time I hear you talk of Fat Lori. Haha. Much needed laughter. I have MS and Lupus and some days it’s hard to keep going onward and upward. Just gotta try. Keep it going, one step at a time. Thanks for sharing your rides.
Yes you gotta keep trying ... Lori is a good companion even though she is a bit fat .. I am too lol Thank you and take care of yourself Onward and Upward!
When I was young and pretty, 🤫 half a century ago... I was cowboyni' and packing in the north country. When we'd be leading a string in to a camp... each of us with 4 to 6 mules, we always got down every hour or so and and walked ten minutes or so. on the steeper grades too... didn't lighten the mules loads any but it felt right and proper, fair maybe? for that good gelding under me!👍
If they don't have you wearing compression socks then thee old ticker must be doing fine I appreciated the Video and seeing a Man do what he Loves to do !
absolutely great to see you out. have you ever heard about grounding ? its suppose to help reduce inflammation, in joints and even the heart. lots of videos on it. thanks for posting, Brett.
Just got back from Wyoming. Sorry to hear you had a medical issue. Good to see you back on the mule. Be careful out there in that heat. You need some trees, more water more mountains. Maybe you should think about going to Wyoming Hope to talk with you soon. Stay well.
TY for sharing with all of us. I'm disabled now, on SSDI which pays in one month LESS THAN I USED TO MAKE PER WEEK my whole life. I can't afford Patreon etc. I'm sorry brother. I love your adventures, it brings me outside where I wish I could be. God Bless us All my friend. Amen
Love the channel. A tip for your glove. Instead of cutting the tip of the finger off, just cut a slit where the end of your finger creases. I slit the index finger and the thumb. Then you can just fold the tip of the glove back when you need you index finger or thumb to work the camera, and if it gets cold you can still cover up your finger tips.
Hi Brett You got me off the couch this weekend saturday I rode a12 year old arabian and on sunday I rode a 2 year old quarter horse 4th ride thanks again for the videos .
I'll admit I don't know alot about horses and mules, but I've recently watched another channel and the main person never once got off his mules, and the camera man's horse was seen huffing and panting for breath while they attempted to find a new trail to the top of a mesa. seemed many were commenting favorably on his "Training" method. I couldn't really watch any more of his channel. Glad to see your most recent video had posted.
Good to see your back out and hopefully feeling good. I had covid last October and it caused me to have lot of heart problems. I'm almost 68 and didn't have any problems before. Now I take medications every day. Hang in there and just enjoy life. I love all your videos. Thank you for sharing this.
Sorry to hear that hope you feel better .. I am feeling pretty good now .. I have one more procedure to go through then I should be good as new .. Thanks
I noticed how well that hat shaded your face and ears, so I went out and bought one something like it, in fact it may be bigger, made in Mexico. I really like it.
Great video Brother. Will be praying for you. I would love to set around camp fire with you and Gary from muskrat outdoors and tell stories I believe we’re all about the same age. But southeast Kentucky is long way from ethers one of you guys.
I was about in the same place today .. caught a dang Javelina in a hole but also trailed a Tom lion through that same canyon .. I am going back early in the morning .. Thanks
I really like that early sun light in the morning. If you have to get a Stem in you arteries,, get it done, my mother got it about two month ago and she still gets around and drives her car. PS she's 90 years old. your not old, your just a young man.
No don't need any stints .. no blockages everything is good except the electrical but I think they can fix that pretty easy .. thank you .. your mother sounds like a tough one !
Can we be friends? My mule lived to be 40 years old. Good feet and teeth still. He got a big bubble butt toward the end. Your a very blessed man. Brian Washington state
Glad to see out and at it Brett . I thought about you a lot last week while driving across I 40 through New Mexico. We got on at Barstow and came across all the way to Virginia and home
Good video… glad you’re feeling better.. getting out & doing what you enjoy is the best therapy. Pretty country,… rough but pretty.. guess the monsoons were pretty lean again.. I realize it’s the desert but man it’s pretty poor on grass even for desert
Brett one question. I bought two young pups with good blood lines last year. I took them to Mexico where l live so I can hunt bobcats. I first trapped a bobcat to get them started, but a few weeks later the bobcat escaped from its cage. Then I started using scent and they did good. I also put them on feral cats and caught two in a year period. So my question is what can I improve to make better bobcat dogs? One more question how you break young hounds from chasing deer and rabbits because you mentioned in this video. Thank you for your time and your videos that give me hope to be a better hounds man.
I would say keep getting them out .. take them to good bobcat country and keep exposing them to bobcats .. I break my hounds off of coyotes deer javelina elk I use a garmin alpha with the shocker .. timing is essential and you have to be careful if your not getting them on good game and you shock them too much for trash you can sure end up ruining them ... if you can make it go over to my other channel Interviews Stories and Tails and tomorrow night Cody King will be on there and you can ask him .. he catches lots of bobcats and can sure help you .. just make sure we see your question in the chat
Good info on that cat , digging that hole and peeing on it . I was going along on a trail in the mnts . My horse stopped dead in its tracks and next thing they were frozen nose to nose , looking at each other . Thank God my horse didnt bolt out and the cougar just spun aroud in its spot and took off . Close call for this old buzzard .
Explain why you are searching for a track? Do you need the track to ensure the dogs are following the right animal. And maybe, you can tell how fresh the track is.
Remember Dr's. Are called practicing physicians. I quit letting them practice on me. They are suggesting 4 surgeries. I won't be doing any of that. Had 8 in my lifetime, that's enough!
