How to Mine Cryptocurrency on a Mac

- In this video, I will be taking you through the steps on how to Mine Cryptocurrency on a Mac. This process will work on all modern macOS versions and will support both Intel and Apple Silicon bases machines. Following these steps will allow you to mine any coin of your choice and will help you to dip your toes into the Crypto World without having to spend any actual money.
Please Note: I would not recommend attempting to do this to make a profit, as it is very likely that you will actually loose money if you do this due to the high cost of electricity (running costs of the machine). Also, be sure to chose a coin with a quick payout (see the video and go to unmineablesbest.com to find the best coin for this).

@@threestars9788 yes lol it’s legit but you’ll barely mine anything unless you have SERIOUS computing power. If you’re on a Mac I did the math I think you’ll make like $5 in a year. Anyways complete waste of time you’ll definitely spend more money on the electricity to power the Mac than you will mining anything

For me it is saying bad CPU type in executable
Don't no why unMineable displayed my miner as inactive, even though the code was running for 30 minutes. Guess I did something wrong?

my terminal says around 750 but the inmineable says 80 and if i restart it it says the same

It worked on an old M1 Mac Book Air, I was getting 1600. My CPU load says 700% in Activity Monitor, but my computer seems to be running normal without slow down. It's getting a little hot and the battery is falling fast. It makes me wonder if it's possible on Mac Pro machine to run multiple instances of terminal to start making it profitable? I'm thinking a best case scenario is $50 to $100 / month minus the cost of electricity... so doesn't make sense. I'm wondering under what circumstances people can mine this profitably.

Hi, thanks. How do you configure XmRig's config to mine more than one coin? What's the Worker Name you put on the textedit file if it's an Intel Mac? For the M1 mac it's .M1_Mac
