I did not have acne as a teenager. I developed hormonal acne as an adult. It affected my self esteem and caused me to research and find a good dermatologist. Very informative video. I’m sure u meant to use sunscreen in the morning, not w/retinol at night. :) I started w/Olay retinol in the red tube. It was truly a game changer, but aft a yr it wasn’t as effective so I ordered Olay retinol in the white tube from a RUclipsr in the UK bc it has a very good helpful ingredient that’s not allowed in the US. Very good detailed video.

Our retinol journey began the exact same way with TO followed by Cerave. After Cerave I ventured to Retinal by Maelove. Their Moonlight Retinal Serum. I have been using it since May. I’m coming up to the end of the bottle. I have not had any irritation with it. Liking so far. Contemplating if I’m repurchasing or trying something stronger like PC 1%. I contemplated Tretinoin via a prescription service but they were trying to charge me $90. Still not sure what to do. I’ve enjoyed my skin care journey and boy it’s the best it’s every been. MWF I exfoliate and TTHS I use my retinal serum. On Sunday it’s usually a gentler all hydration night with K beauty 7 Skins. It’s self care for me now and I love it.
I LOVE YOUR ROUTINE. I found that my skin has been so much better with product cycling during the week. I quit using AHAs too. It’s just BHAs , Retinol and Loads of hydration plus ceramides. I don’t think I have the guts to try Tretinoin 😩. I’ll stick to retinol for now .
