What people don't consider about Cedar Point's line up is, the top 3 world class coasters they have make the other coasters SEEM mediocre, when in reality all the rest of the coaster at Cedar Point are actually as good as flagship coasters at other parks, they just get overshadowed by the top 3 big daddies. Like Valravn for example. That coaster would be considered the flagship coaster at many, many parks. But at Cedar Point it just doesn't stand out in the incredible lineup they have.
Really great video and and love the way you approached it. I am a huge Cedar Point fan, but I will say operations were not great when I was there this year. They were having major issues with their Intamin coasters as obviously top thrill was down, maverick was down all day, and Millennium Force was down all day after noon. I totally disagree with you on Fury. Fury has the best layout of any steel coaster in the world and here is my reason. The whole first half is about pure speed with all the twist and overbooked speed hills. After that turnaround there are 4-5 fantastic airtime hills. Fury is my number 3 overall behind Steve and the Voyage. Here is my hot take...... Milli is still a very good coaster but it is the worst giga. It does nothing after the first drop and turnaround. Now I still like Millli but it is way overhyped. As I said love the video bro! Just subbed!

Fury 325 is absolutely an elite coaster, I can however see the argument for it being overrated. It's a B&M Giga which alot of enthusiasts do not dig on. B&M gigas are glassy smooth and mainly focused on airtime and speed they can lack a little in the intensity department. I personally love it, but I know others who actually find it too tame.
El toro has good speed going into the drop, that causes every seat to feel a little like the back. Apollos chariot drop not that steep at all but that little extra speed going into the drop makes it better than nitros. Look at all the dive coasters that hold you there you then let you go, even though they are 90 degrees they are so slow you can barely feel a drop sensation other than that initial release. On el toro in the back you feel the rest of the train gradually gaining speed on the turn pulling you faster and faster into the drop. Its the best. You feel a pulling sensation down the entire drop. And this is why millennium force has a better drop than all the b&m gigas bc of its big crest and lift speed it has the train going into the drop with good speed. Drops with smaller crests and slow lifts are not forceful at 90 degrees or less, you need speed going into a drop to make it good.
Might be expensive, but i say move the parking lot to the main land and build a monorail leading to the entrance or build a parking garage and expand to the parking lot. Oh, and they could also tear down all those overpriced restaurants and make room that way.
what are they just going to make people move? look at the land around cedar point main land....there isnt much... unless they do a 5-7 story parking garage where that old waterpark/hotel was that was just demolished

Your info is wrong. Gemini is a OG coaster. It was fastest and tallest coaster in the world when it was first built. Got to remember its age. I still think it's good coaster. For something that has short lines typically it's still smooth and fun ride with a unique aspect with the side by side and has a great helix at the end of the ride.

Hot Take: Nitro at SFGA (Six Flags Great Adventure) is the greatest hyper coaster in the world! Mainly for the fact that they don’t staple you and there is more airtime than you can count. Anyways, It is the best because yes.
I was going to say, I305 feels like what a giga coaster should be. It’s my favorite giga that I’ve ridden. Pure craziness, fast as hell, insane intensity. I think it’s better than a graceful floater airtime machine.

- X2/Eejanaika/Dinoconda are tied for #1 coaster in the world. - Some standup coasters are underrated (Riddler's Revenge, Georgia Scorcher) and the thing holding the model back was actually poor layouts not suited to the standing position. If they had better layouts the model would have been more popular. - Sometimes gentler, less forceful, and more graceful experiences are better. And the visuals and feeling of flying on a beautiful looking roller coaster is underappreciated compared to raw forces and stats.
I think the best wooden coaster is wickernan at alton towers england because its got a themed queue and handedly any catlepen and it is loaded with themeing aswell as the unique lift hill and it has an amazing background but for thrills I would say el toro

Cedar Point is going downhill. While Steel Vengence is indisputably a top 15 in the world, I just need to say croud management is beyond atrotious. 2 trains to start the day on Steel Vengence. When Maverick is down all day. And even Blue Streak has an hour+ line. Says everything you need to know. Yea, I had a good time but it required me spending $140 on a Fast Lane Plus, and that's simply unacceptable. And this'll really make Cedar Point fanboys upset but due to the slowed lift Millenium Force is the worst giga (I know I'd prefer Steel Dragon without even riding it, heck it's not even the best coaster with the word "force" in it in the Cedar Fair chain), and it isn't even close. I preferred Leviathan to MF before my last visit to CP but after my last visit it isn't even close. Leviathan is still a top 20 coaster out of over 300 coasters, Millenium isn't even top 100 worthy anymore, or even top 3 at CP with it being the only operating Intamin coaster that day.

In terms of the next major expansion at cedar point, I personally think 2024 is the year! Also get your rides on Corkscrew during the 2023 season because I don’t think we will see that in 2024! With them relocating Matterhorn and Scrambler to the new board walk area they could use that space, corkscrew’s plot and maybe remove some of the maintenance buildings behind Corkscrew they got a nice plot for a new roller coaster!
the main midway between dragster and corkscrew needs help!! they need better food. better bathroom, entertainment, lights, thrill ride. maybe a mack infinity coaster to replace corkscrew and go over midway. also I think they should get a new ferris wheel that is taller and move it around where matterhorn/buildings are.
I think Cedar Fair need to decide if CP is truly there flagship park. If so redo all your old record breaking coaster’s,since space is at a premium! I think people who says CP sucks is just a spoiled brat. 3 world class b&Ms, a top 2 RMC, 4 coasters over 200ft, an incredible intamin blitz. Cedar Point is a still a very good park, but it has lost a little as far as quality park experience goes in the last few years. I've been there so many times that alot of its coaster collection is very average to me. Hell I've ridden TTD over a hundred times, so I was definitely ready to say goodbye to it. But the top 5 (SteVe, Maverick, Millie, Maggie, Raptor) are still all elite to me plus Gemini, Gatekeeper, Valravn are a great secondary line. I actually think Kings Island is an all around better park, but I still got love for CP. I just think it's not quite as top tier as it once was.
@Dragster no read the post I've ridden it over a hundred times, so yes I liked it, but I don't mind that it is getting remained into something newer and more reliable. That is actually quite exciting.
millennium is a hardcore overrated coaster and i think it's only held so high up cause of nostalgia. Still a fun ride but i rather ride magnum over and over again.
Cedar Point is still a park like no other. They lost money when cova hit. They are catering too families. Sawmill creek just announced there plans for a Big Christmas function since CP can’t open in weather. 🎠🎢🎡CP is and will always be a park like no other 🎡🎠🎢

Yes, maybe it’s not added the same kind of attractions in the past few as they used to, but they’ve actually done goood tho no a with their food and themeing to make it a fully rounded park with one of the most stacked coaster lineups ever

Steel vengeance is the most overrated roller coaster, like it’s not even that good, way to repetitive and boring, and on top of that lackluster intensity and pacing and airtime intensity, I’d rather ride the other rmc’s before this one except New Texas Giant
Cedar point.... There are definitely better versions of some of the coasters in other parts.... How's your standing up on a roller coaster but imitation is the most sincere form of flattery. That's what cedar point does they set the standard for the rest of the world to try to raise the bar stay tuned watch what they do next and watch the copies of whatever that is start to show up in the world the exact same way.

Cedar Point is a still a very good park, but it has lost a little as far as quality park experience goes in the last few years. I've been there so many times that alot of its coaster collection is very average to me. Hell I've ridden TTD over a hundred times, so I was definitely ready to say goodbye to it. But the top 5 (SteVe, Maverick, Millie, Maggie, Raptor) are still all elite to me plus Gemini, Gatekeeper, Valravn are a great secondary line. I actually think Kings Island is an all around better park, but I still got love for CP. I just think it's not quite as top tier as it once was.

millennium is a hardcore overrated coaster and i think it's only held so high up cause of nostalgia. Still a fun ride but i rather ride magnum over and over again.

Cedar Point is still a park like no other. They lost money when cova hit. They are catering too families. Sawmill creek just announced there plans for a Big Christmas function since CP can’t open in weather. 🎠🎢🎡CP is and will always be a park like no other 🎡🎠🎢
