I wish this was the way they still marketed the girls. Fewer dolls with deeper stories and more meaningful collections. They've retired so many of the historical dolls, and so few of the remaining ones even have *clothes* you can buy now, much less furniture!
This unboxing is straight out of the original Pleasant Co catalog where Pleasant Rowland described finding a trunk with a doll and her accessories or something which inspired her to create the collections! I never had an American Girl doll, but I got the catalogs with the three you mentioned and spent hours poring over them. Thanks for sharing this!
You're so right about just having our one doll, the books and the accessories. I still have just one American Girl doll and her accessories. Pleasant Company and American Girl items. I love your collection. So much nostalgia in one video. Thank you for sharing this video with us.

LolaGeek, your American Girl Doll unboxing video is a heartwarming trip down memory lane! It's wonderful to see you reuniting with your Kirsten doll and all her accessories. Your excitement and nostalgia are truly contagious. It's amazing how these cherished items can hold such sentimental value and connect generations. Your video reminds us of the special moments we had with our childhood toys. Thanks for sharing this heartwarming experience with us! 💖👧📦
I loved that you shared this. Collectors would pay a pretty penny for all of that stuff especially since she isn't available anymore. You should keep it though, because that is just cool to look at!
Thank you for sharing those beautiful items with us. i have Kirsten and many of her items. The items are all sellabe if you chose to but you can also save it for your children in the future. My granddaughters now enjoy their mothers american girl dolls and items and it is a great connection that they share.
Lola you made a nice video….a nice friendly demeanor. Thank you for sharing your lovely collection. Since it all fits in your trunk….KEEP IT! What a treasure. Its and learned from it as well. I am a mother of boys….all grown and a grandmother of boys. So i started my collection with Kirsten just before the Mattel sale….but she now has a silver eye…..so disappointing. ……also apparent you took care of your toys…...
Great collection. Glad you saved it. The piece of chalk in her school accessories is worth more than the outfits! lol and the bugs too. Enjoy them now. Thanks for sharing. As far as authentic outfits of that era watch on YT Lady Rebecca's Fashions. She is a fashion historian and has a series on the AG historicals.
I'm from Canada, but as an enthusiast for American History, I have only started to learn about American Girl dolls...at 31 years old. Now I want a colonial doll so, so badly but it's hard to choose just one!

I’ve been revisiting American Girl as I’ve been under this wave of nostalgia! Your video may have caused me to add a couple things to my eBay cart 😆

Love this! Where did you get that trunk?
No clue! Someone in my family must have gotten it for me...

Yo!Yeeah~you shared perfect unboxing~goodnight,
I guess you don’t fish. A floater (cork, bobber) lets you know the position of your hook.
You should keep her! value is 700.00 to 1000.00
😲
For everything she owns..but not the doll alone. Even white bodies don’t go for that much unless they have a rare sought after feature.
It's pronounced Kiersten, not Kersten and her doll's name is Sari.
It's pronounced the way I said it, I know other people with this name and it's a pet peeve of theirs when they are called "Kiersten" 😅
@LolaGeek nope, there's even an official AG video pronouncing it Kiersten.
Agree to disagree 🤷🏼♀️
