One ☝️ of my all time favorite Stillers! Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!!!! I remember being at the Bills game and he got the go ahead touchdown to seal it back in 01’! Man, I miss that dude!
Remember Fu and these days well. The bus was just starting to have to go in for repairs more often. We also had famous Amos zeroua(spelling?) around this time. A very colorful backfield in those days.
Amos Zereoue...or, as I called him, "Amos Zero-way," because there was no way he should have been named the starting running back ahead of Bettis in 2003.
Never saw Fu play and I'm really glad you uploaded this. One of my favourite players in Madden 05 which I am playing again currently. Not a Steelers man but after a Fantasy Draft I had Fu as FB ahead of the Bus. Pretty much the same effect as this video.
FUUU wassomething special too man i remember his days at USC this is who Pittsburgh is identity wise. Were a big back big o line smash mouth power football team thats our legacy and tradition it personifies Pittsburgh, and how about tge fullback Dan Kreider just excellent smash mouth blocking power football still works i wish the Steelers go back to the old sxhool way of things
FORGET the lunch pail! Fu brought the WHOLE Cafeteria! Met him few times, one of THE most soft-spoken, down to Earth, most pleasent to talk to athletes have ever met!
I used to love watching these big back cream defenders. Christian Okoye, Lorenzo Neal, Daryl Johnston, James Hodgins. The Rams used to put Hodgins & TE Jeff Robinson out wide and throw to them. I always wondered why coaches didn't do this more- target defensive backs with big RB's, FB's, TE's. I'd throw to them in the flat and tell them to intentionally cream the DB's.
FU was an extremely hard runner...Steelers O-Line & FU punished the Lions man, that was brutal when he ran over Westbrook #Trucked #Yikes!!!! #SteelCity #HereWeGo
2:47 what a run FUUUUUUUU! We should of used him way more in 2005 but i dont think we had him any more but then if we did have him would fast Willie get is opportunity still? We will never know. 05 was when Bettis and Duc got hurt
Definitely a fan favorite. Dude was solid
Yo it's crazy yall hes my cousin lol
4 people disliked this video. Probably the Lions secondary.
One bad Ma'afala!
Chris Berman coined that.. 🤣🤣🤣 I loved it

Omg! I havent heard that sound at 3:36 since I was a kid! I had forgotten all about it and hearing it brought back a wave of memories.
Jerome "The Bus" Bettis, goes out...and Chris Fuamatu-Ma'afala goes in. Geez, what a nightmare to deal with.
His greatest moment as a Steeler was when he scored against the browns in the 2002 wild card round. Browns haven't been to the playoffs since.
Man, I miss this guy...what a baller!!!
Fu was so friggin' underrated, what a tank he was! He was starting running back material.
He was one bad Ma’afala!!! Great job finding this and putting it out!!!
"He a bad Ma'afala! You can't stop that Ma'afala!" Chris Berman 2001
Tom Jackson "Watch yo mouf!!"
CAN YOU DIG IT? CAN YOU DIG IT?
Guy was a beast .
I remember this game as a kid. Great game!!
Loved this guy. Bro your videos always put a smile on my face!
Loved Fu!

Beast mode real Steelers fans know
Good thing he was so huge otherwise they wouldn't be able to fit his name on his jersey. Absolute steelers legend
I loved Fu, one of my favorite Steelers. Wish he would’ve stayed healthy

'HE'S A BAD MA'AFALA! I'M TALKING ABOUT MA'AFALA!
CAN YOU DIG IT? CAN YOU DIG IT?
Can you do a video on tommy maddox big plays?
I can’t be the only one who just wanted to hear the announcers try to say his name over and over
I still rep my Fu jersey at least once a season, loved that dude!
Chris M was fun to watch, can you do one of Hines Ward highlights receiving and blocking? Please!

Fu played at Utah, not USC.
He was a bad Ma’afala!!😊😊
He was one bad Ma'afala
They dont make em like that anymore
Lets also give credit to the upback and the offensive line for absolute domination at the line of scrimmage.
Fu definitely bought his lunch pail to the field that day, Fuuuuuu!!!
FORGET the lunch pail! Fu brought the WHOLE Cafeteria! Met him few times, one of THE most soft-spoken, down to Earth, most pleasent to talk to athletes have ever met!
He was one bad Ma’alafala
I’m just gonna say he’s a Beast on the Field and a Beast in real life... One of the toughest guys I know besides Olin Kreutz... Hawaii 🔨🔨
He was a bad Ma'afala!
Beat me to it!

Damn I miss football 😢
Dude would have had a touchdown had he not randomly decided to try snd juke that defender lol. He punched the ground after cause he knew it too!
That's a baaaaadd ma'afala!
Good shit bub
Everytime they say his name im just like "wait what did they just call him"
One of my favorite a$$ kickers Fu was awesome
We need that O line in today's Steelers we be dominant with Najee Harris running behind that
That break-away screen was insane but he couldn't find 5th gear

The guy is a bull!!
Do a vid on Kevin Greene!!!
#SteelerNation
Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!!!!! (Stadium Echoes)
What ever happened to Fu?
You watched this after the BTSC podcast like l did. 😁
As of 2019, moved back to Hawaii. Ran into him 2x, first in 2000, then 2019. BIG Ma'afala, quiet & personable.
He's in Hawaii. His daughter has a scholarship to San Jose state for soccer and his son plays football. His son has highlights on RUclips already lol
MA'AFALA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The lions got the fuuuuuu
Dude was a hog always looked forward when he came in for mop up duty or when the bus was out of commission
FUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!
Why did we get rid of him
The defense tried to be Fu-fighters. Ouch.
Is that a successful screen pass I’ve see?
Steelers haven’t done that in years.
Fuuuuu!
First
Typical Samoan kid having fun with the football. Bad as Maafala
I used to Madden create player and make up sweet names like this, as a white guy lol
