Hi, Robbie This is a really great video, man. I am a black-and-white lover, so for me, the black-and-white photos are the most beautiful. But the impressive colors of the sky are also very beautiful in color. Thank you for sharing this special video. Antoine.
What I always think about when I'm out in a storm with a metal camera on a metal tripod is am I going to be struck by lightning 😂 great video Robbie and yes great mudic too. A big storm is always a mix of awe and a slight frisson of fear.
My new shiny laser-cut nylon adapter for the C220 showed up. I have the Kiev 88 45-degree non-metered prism strapped back on my C220 and I put two rolls through it in northern Michigan last week. The film was the new Reflx Labs CN 100 in 220. Now if I could get some luck on buying a 55mm that isn't puked on my haze or fungus... Another great video with amazing pictures sir!
Interesting point about the drops on the lens. Completely shifts the viewer's focus from a transparent POV immediately towards and inward to the taker. A completely different dynamic between documentary and self portraiture.
Great shots, I’ve been doing something similar recently, but with delta 400 in 135 pushed to like 800-1600, the result are also these stunning cloudy and wet fields and rain but there is such a texture to them that gets lost in larger formats imo
Thats awesome to hear! I just wrapped a Taking Inspiration on Robert Adams where I shot some FP4 pushed 2 stops during a storm again so I hope you keep watching :)
Looks like this was the storms on Sunday. They were insane. I was walking the dogs when the tornado warnings came in and only had one roll of 120 on me. My gf kept texting for us to get home.
Beautiful shots. And the sound of thunder is lovely :)
the way the mamiya rendered space was quite compelling in that light. And appreciated how much silence and space you gave that storm for the viewer.
I love your take. Thanks bud

Very 'Take Shelter' vibes. Amazing film! Great images too man👌
It felt like that for a bit lol
I’m half expecting Michael Shannon to come out of nowhere and flip a table in a dining hall.
@@BryanBirks Dude, I am a Michael Shannon fan boy
