Another great video. I really dig your down-to-earth manner. It's like going out shooting with a friend rather than watching a "RUclips" personality. Dig it!
Damn! Love this one. Really inspiring me to shoot color on cloudy days. I usually go for big bold colors but I like how the subdued colors really match the subjects
I absolutely love the blue hues and cool tone on the film, well done. I wanna shoot some of this stock now. I wonder how it'll look in some direct sunlight. hmm
Hi, Robbie. Cool video, man. I like that industrial work. I would have liked to take some pictures of those trucks. I enjoyed watching it again, buddy. Antoine.
I ain't got no friends. so I just bought and loaded some 220 160NC in my 220 Rz67 back. I grabbed it off ebay cheap. exp 2009. I will be shooting at ISO 80. Back when I started photoing film 16 years ago this month, I was buying 400UC and then 400VC. I liked UC the best and avoided NC. now after photoing with new portra for years, I don't mind NC. I think I have bunches of 35mm 160VC, but no NC. You should create+link to an IG with all the images in one slide show.
actually, im pretty sure the film becomes grainier because more of the silver crystals become less sensitive as the background radiation excites more and more of the silver crystals and makes the base fog worse
@@RobbieMaynardCreates Interesting most of the swells line up perfectly. Hence my curiosity. Really enjoy your videos. I ended up buying a fujica blp and putting a pano kit in it cause of your videos.
These shots are stunning! Portra really knows how to bring images to life.

Robbie you are an original, Thank God for that, keep up the good work!
Yeah, good old times 😻 Btw, really likes those pictures, the atmosphere and everything
Thank you so much!
Really enjoyed this video, Robbie. Your take on the old truck culture was spot on. As one gets older, nostalgia becomes ever more present. Nice work!😀
So true

i actually thought the photos here came out really good...curious to see how this film stock performs on a sunny day
I would be curious too - I had one roll to get it right so the margin for error was slim lol
QQ do you edit the music around the video or the video around the music?
neither really. I'm constantly making music and just shuffle through the folder to find something that works

I have a question about that silicone tape. Can you leave it inside and shoot regular 120 film or do you remove it when you change format?
Im sure you could but it would probably effect your image. I always just peel it off
@@RobbieMaynardCreates Gotcha. Any type of brand? Searching local here I get lots of medical silicone tape
