Astrometica | Early Access | Episode 04 | Mining Hub Theta-9 Base!
Astrometica is out in Early Access and we're starting a new series on it! We did a short series on the Prologue version, but we're doing a new start on a new map, and with more things we can build. We are adrift in an asteroid field and need to gather materials to build and survive in space!
We start today by grabbing the charged batteries from the Battery Charger and making sure we have the materials to build a Habitat Airlock or two. Then we head out to explore the nearby broken domes, where we unlock the Vehicle Station and Skipper Vehicle as well as find a Nickel Asteroid or two. Then we mine up some Quartz with the Mining Tool near the base before we head out to that New Signal. It turns out to be the Theta-9 Base, a mining hub. We find several crew logs after unlocking the station with the Keycard Theta-9. We unlock the Engineer Suit by scanning a corpse we come across, and find our 1st blue crystal, which unlocks the Big Habitat Battery. After looting the area we head over to the Theta-9 Hull as we now have the key for it, but we'll check it out more next time.

Nice progress, story is well balanced with giving you resources in containers you need for starter machines.
