Former M1A1 tanker here. This video made me buy the game and I have successfully convinced my old tank crew to do so as well. First time working together as a crew again in 10 years. We own the battlefield. Thanks for the videos. This game is unreal.

The splash damage by the 120mm shell on the infantry is just ridiculous. It literally can destroy a house but can't kill a guy that's 20 feet close to it? Geez.
Well to be fair, it is an M830A1 120mm High Explosive Anti-Tank Multi Purpose and not HE-Frag. Of course, ideally you wouldn't want to be anywhere near an exploding shell but that's my explanation for it..
Isa Jumali yeah, hes using more concentrated anti-armor rounds that will have far less fragments shooting out
@Solipsil that explosive is used in a shaped charge so its not designed to frag but penetrate armour. This is the reason it doesnt have a high lethal radius because it isnt designed to work that way

This is like a movie. A single tank surrounded by a platoon of soldiers trying to survive. Man, and the comms really adds to the chaos.
This reminded me of battlefield 3 when you're left alone just surrounded trying to hold as long as possible

They had so much opportunity to leave the tank and try to RPG/Frag the abrams but they kept trying to gun it down, dumb move, maybe they just didn’t have anything that could harm the abrams so that’s okay in such case.
The tank gameplay is too excellent to have a HP system, they should have a better damage model.
I suppose with ERA it kinda works
They need war thunder mechanics.. it's a disservice otherwise

yeah, Karma may be good at infantry stuff, but he's an absolute brainlet at Tanking. He only lived because the Russians never punished him being over exposed and lacking situational awareness half of the time.
Everytime the loader load the gun.. n shout "UP"... Probably the most badass crew in an abrams..... Idk y.. but yea... IMO

Isn't the Abrams gunner primary sight supposed to be on the top righthand side of the turret?
Yes. It is nicknamed the Dog House. It seems the developers believe the back up visual "battle sight" is the primary optic. Which is incorrect. If the gunner is using that then the primary up top has been destroyed and the gunner is forced to lean to his left and peer through the backup.
might be a balance thing, since the T72 has it's optics closer to below bore. The Abrams would be able to see over things better than the 72.
Yup, the primary sight is the top one, on this in the video i figure out the devs are used the back up one; only used when primary goes out or get destroyed...
Keith M the GAS (gunner’s auxiliary sight) is also used to ensure the gun has a clear line of fire, since the GPS (gunner’s primary sight) is at higher elevations than the gun itself

They really need to add the canister shell and wide sight for the gun

The loader yelling GET SOME MOTHERFUCKER is so America I cried bald eagles and cheeseburgers when I heard it. What an awesome addition to the game to have little things like that. I wonder if the russian and terrorist teams have any cool call outs

Every time you say that, the commander just turns his sights some 10 degrees and completely ignores the surroundings.
Also funny that the gunner is the commander in this case. Are people really this bad at gunning with a tank?

Yeah this really bugged me. It’s like having an officer being the machine gunner in a squad. It’s kinda hard to control a tank cannon and give out orders at the same time.

Intense! If you watch this video and don't immediately buy and play Squad, then would conclude you don't like FPS games.
I've played a lot, it's not ever that intense, but that pretty much sums up how good Squad can be if you work well as a squad.

dude!! this map?! i am strictly infantry right now because n00b and we got tank-fked the entire game here. hiding behind those square stacks was terrifying with rounds n shells going overhead. safe to say we lost because i don’t think our armor was participating.

That is absolutely the opposite of how a tank game should be, he is pushing in brainless and had to use over 10 shots for the enemy MBT. If the enemy team would be any good they would not have survived at all. You can easily engage targets at over 1km with the MBT in squad.
