I don't know why both of them are dancing around the issue in answering safety of women. In India, women are not safe and it is not just the fault of the men. It is the mothers who are responsible for the bad sons they raise. Women aso face danger inside their home from husband,mother-in-law. Women's safety needs to be taken very sriously and the authority need to find ways that women can reach out for help during crisis moments. Every woman should carry powerful pepper spray with them all the time.
It’s unfortunate people in power in their respective fields don’t want to come forward to address safety. By just saying it exists in every industry doesn’t make it any better. ‘Namma edhukku saakadela kai vidanum’ attitude is sickening.
