Did you make a video of the pump connected to relay?

thank you for sharing this project. our school project presentation is like your project and we are new in programming. i hope you can help us brother to present the function of relay to pump and illustration of it

i already get the circuit diagram and how to code it to thonny IDE. but we don't know to give powersource to the water pump and how to connect it in raspberry pi pico

hi, my project is almost similar to this, but my pump need to be working according to 3 different sensors, which is temperature, moisture content and EC, how do i do that?

Thanks for sharing this post as helps to understand the functions to the core. Do you have any tutorial on how to connect Relay switch to Pump?

@@ImpulseTech Thanks for this tutorial. I agree that it's lacking the relay -> pump part, so I had to look deeper myself and perhaps you can tell me if I'm wrong:
You need an external power supply (which I should have known, but regardless, didn't think of)
      On the relay output end:
COM to the pumps positive line
NO to the positive of the external power
      From the pump:
connect the negative to the negative of the power supply
It worked, I just don't know if everything was best. I did connect the relay to the VBUS (5V), but you did 3V3, which I'm guessing is probably better(???)
Your schematic shows NO and NC instead of the NO-COM-NC options my relay has, so I'm not sure out there's anything different. Connecting NC and COM seems like it would work when the relay isn't sent a signal to be on. My relay has a jumper for setting that. As well.
Again, thank you for this. Finally I'll be able to grow mint and cilantro on the deck without constantly worrying about it getting baked.
