- We recently had the opportunity to reconnect with our friends at Ridgecrest Community Garden. This for-the-people, by-the-people garden promotes self-sustainable living, provides fresh organic produce, and increases conscious nutritional awareness in one of the oldest and poorest neighborhoods in Ridgecrest, CA.
In 2021, Mountain Rose Herbs gave a $5,000 grant to Ridgecrest Community Garden through our #Grants4Plants program to add an Herbal Zen Garden. During the pandemic, the herb garden became a way of connecting to the community’s roots as a unit and family, increasing people’s awareness of medicinal herbs and trees, and offering a safe place to teach and learn about herbal practices. We are so honored to be part of this project!

What a wonderful vision he had and I'm glad MRH was there to help manifest it. That is a goal of mine, too, but I don't have the infrastructure or community, which is soooo important. ❤❤❤
Biggest of blessings. Clarity is key when it comes to doing the equitable thing with community and nature. Give thanks for MRH and the vision to support grassroots doers and community.
Beautiful! Love the radiant joy and energy. Happy for this community to have someone so passionate and driven.
How can herbalists and gardeners get involved here on the East Coast? I would love to exchange emails with someone at MRH, and dicuss plans for a community garden network in the tricity area around Richmond, VA!! Support from MRH would be phenomenally important and I have personally been a patron for some time. Rosemary Gladstone is a true inspiration for me, and seeing her work branch out into even more community rehabilitating, educational, holistic, truly people-loving, inclusive projects is refreshing, and I would go so far as to say, revolutionary.
