The thing that honestly rubs me the wrong way is how Jimmy tries to trivialize how it affected the match. It's game 4 on a 17-17 game, of course it's going to have an impact. If you can't trust your opponent's integrity, that will play a part in the mental aspect of a game. It can affect where and how much you put into an attack if you can't trust your opponents to have integrity to make the right line calls. Plus just knowing you got hooked is already frustrating enough to affect someone's mental. Trying to minimize the impact by saying how there was so many more points after and the game remained close is such an L take and just feels like you are trying to gaslight the audience so you can feel better about the situation.
I recall in one of the 1st MLP’s held Michelle E’s entire team agreed to allow a challenge but she would not allow it. I recall Greg Dow being very upset. I knew that day what kind of character Michelle had and that she is not trustworthy.

@@travisrettenmaier1539 the right thing to do is subjective though. Yes, it was a bad call, but people in the sidelines are not supposed to make line calls. @@morekingofthecourt Everyone is doing it, so its ok is your rationale?? That Black Bears hook was the most egregious I have ever seen. Not only was the ball in by a foot, but the entire Black Bears team was right there and none of them had the balls or integrity to do the right thing. Blatant hook that, if it happened to the Black Bears ,you would have spent 30 minutes of this podcast ripping the Smash and crying about how you got cheated.
Jimmy would have had an hour rant if that call was against them... You can take that to the bank..
@@thealsatiansensation Did you see the team when the call was made? Just because they were close, doesn't mean they were looking at the ball? You can see in the video none of their heads are even looking in the direction of the ball?
Was it an incorrect call? Not one person I know is saying that the ball was out. Every single person is saying the ball was in and it was an incorrect call.
This has actually happened to the Blackbears and JM didn't report on it (happened in DC)... happens all the time.. just because we/other people don't complain about it...it happens, its sports. Bad calls, wrong calls, good things, bad things happen all the time. Welcome to life.
@@morekingofthecourtClose calls should be video review (where available) after . Players making bad calls should be fined and the fine should be made public to put pressure on players to get their calls correct. This is rocket science… if you don’t see it clearly out, it is in and play on
It was a desperate player on a desperate team who would do anything to win. Sad for the game and for that team. Rafa should have called it in.
The Team Captains need to chill the game down if its get off the rails -- just do a coin flip or possession arrow like hoops..next sketchy call is other teams. Shts not hard folks 🚁💦
CJ needs to get PB cancelled for his behavior(if that’s true), this might be the best thing for Ben
You obviously didn't let it go. Do better. I hated this segment.
@@WisdomInsightReality who? The one that made a joke about something then having the other player blow up and proceed to throw shade separately? Seems like someone else didn’t let it go.
I’m sorry you didn’t enjoy this segment, my apologies.
Getting rightfully upset at Colin yelling at a young girl but joking about Alshon sleeping with a minor? Ongoing arguments about a relatively minor line call but no outrage about an adult male player going after a minor who is one of the top female players? Really avoiding things that materially matter. Seems like a huge scandal that is swept under the rug and dismissed. Alshon should be suspended for inappropriate behavior with a minor player.
Let's be honest, WNBA team would get smoked by a good boys HS basketball team..
Ugh Betsy DeVos 🤮 who cares
Lost respect for Jimmy here. Long story short, blarant bad call, and your team didn't deserve the point. Instead of taking the high road and just acknowledging that it was wrong, or a heat of moment type thing etc, goes on to talk shit about everyone who is rightfullt upset about it. Big fan of Tyler, but have to unsub here.
Yup, Jimmy's cred has been falling for a while.. He used to say it like it was without care about who got hurt feelings.. Nowhe picks and chooses and makes excuses for the biggest hook in MLP history.. He has also become a shrill for sponsorship money...the old JM is history..
Did you watch the same video I did? I thought JM claims 1000% that the call was bad and incorrect? JM acknowledges this....
@@morekingofthecourt I said he made excuses.... Yes I always watch... I stand by what I stated about his cred.. We all have our opinions..
@@Gary-W Thanks for watching and thanks for your opinion... I think we can agree to disagree, we won't agree on everything. Have a great week!
@@morekingofthecourt same to you..😊
MLP is horrible to watch
Why?
Bro, even challenger was compelling this time. Opening day drama aside, once play started outdoors there were some amazing matches.
