    that trivalent accepted negative and became negative. and pentavelent which gave became positive was near junction. And trivalent which became negative near p side of junction do not allow further electrons to come and repels it This was very much needed. Kept on thinking and by your that insight of that idea got to know. May be wrong but got some what clarity almost... But still more trying more and more clearer...
    no need of conventional current direction i guess... But may be useful somewhere donno but it should be changed if nothing...

    Excellent explanation, i was thinking ,ehere would be drift of electrons and holes in unbiased condition, either it will be in whole pn junction diode or in only depletion region where electric field is set, i learnt here that it happens only in depletion region because electric field is set only there

    Sir, Jb electron n-type se p-type k side diffuse krega tb holes bhi p-type se n-type k side kyu diffuse krega. Aisa kyu nhi hoga ki electron p-type k side diffuse ho aur holes ko fill kr de and Dono k charge neutralise ho Jaye.
    Ya phir holes n-type k side diffuse ho aur electrons k sath mil k neutralise ho Jaye.

    Sir i have doubt,why did holes jumps to n side,if n-side is already fullfilled of electrons and only have free charges which could go to ocvupy holes space

    If there are diffusion current and drift current which are opposite to each other, how do net electric field and potential barrier established at equilibrium??

      Due to differences in Fermi level, yes diffusion did made potential barrier neutral but due to the difference in Fermi level it creates a potential difference

      @@edupoint.physicsSir My English is not so good ....In 15.00 min you said hole diffuse to n side and cross the pn junction.....Actually i wish to ask, How can holes cross the pn junction...is it possible..? Whereas in n side all silicon atom are formed covalent bond with 8 atom ...only the free electron cross the pn junction to recombine with hole....
