Hey, Linkinpedia here. Thanks for featuring us in the video! When exactly Phoenix returned to the band is something we only uncovered recently. Linkin Park toured in 2000 with a bass player named Scott Koziol who can be seen in the music video for One Step Closer. Their last show with Scott was on October 31, 2000 which happened to be the final show on the tour with Kottonmouth Kings. A couple of days after that, Linkin Park announced to their team that Phoenix was returning. Their first show with Phoenix back in the band was on November 7, 2000, the first show on their tour with P.O.D. Scott went on to play with Kottonmouth Kings on their 2002 album Rollin' Stoned. Snax still played a few shows throughout 2000 and 2001, but eventually disbanded. Mark Fiore, their vocalist, works for Linkin Park as their videographer.
I remember seeing Linkin park at a free kroq concert next to a best buy and getting their autographs. But before letting Phoenix sign I asked if he was in the band because of the pictures. He said he was In LP but at the moment he was in tour with a different band, I was around 11 at the time lol.
