Was thinking the same, I wouldn't sit on... Welding is too superficial. It needs more strength.
Really comes down to the weakest link.
The width of links really makes a difference. Did one for work and the legs are pretty flimsy. I’ll try adding more weld to stiffen it up. Wanted to avoid flat bar for bracing and keep the aesthetics.

what type of cutting wheel do you use on your grinder? amazing work!
I doubt those tack welds help up that well. Welding chain links together you need to weld them an as many touching spots on all the area you can... unless its just for looking at then I guess its just whatever.

@@MuXaCuK., а что металлические ножки пол зацарапают, тоже ничего страшного? Прогнутся то понятно, но если начать чуть двигаться на стуле. А вот переносить и двигать такой "стул" противопоказано.
