- A while back I started experimenting with building 1:24 scale trains and trams using almost entirely 3D printed parts. The W5 class tram was an early prototype for testing a lot of the construction methods. There are quite a few things about it that I will change in future versions, but that's the big advantage of 3D printing, you can afford to make prototypes and test different ideas. Here the W class goes for a run on a warm summer afternoon.
The Eltham South Electric Tramway is a 1:24 scale, 45mm gauge garden tramway, powered by 32v live overhead. Авто/Мото
Wow! A real railway system in miniature! Absolutely amazing!👌🥰👉❤️👍
Love how the tramway blends in with the garden.
What a superb large scale model.
The interior looks wonderful.
Yes, was amazed to see the interior detail when you show the inside!
It isn't quite as refined as it could be, since in the original design it was only really intended for viewing from the outside. In future I'll try to pay more attention to the interior detail, especially for stuff like the wire runs inside the roof.
@@melbournesparks3828 I think it looks brill.
Always a Pleasure to see a New Clip from you.
Great work and lovely video. That interior is amazing. 😀
Wow, that it’s great to see this project finally come to fruition and running very smoothly! 😁
I so wanted to climb aboard and experienced the ride. Wonderful bird song, very nostalgic for me as I lived in Melbourne in 1968/9. Excellent build quality. Thank you.
Really nice, thanks for sharing.
new views in the news! EXCELLENT! birds add a nice touch too!!❤❤❤👏👏👏
How beautiful... Thanks for a new video
Excellent! 👍👍
loved the view from inside the train, great touch to the video that was
Amazing, your choice of livery is spot on in my opinion!
I love this miniature trains/trams and its very realistic , Keep posting Respect 🎉❤😊

During the past year, I believe you've changed the grade crossing for full size humans (seen at 0:39) which used to not have the removable metal structure. Did an incident occur there, or did you just feel like upgrading?
The current arrangement has been in place for quite a while now, though maybe not shown. Previously there was just a removable section of wire, but that was more annoying to put in place. Now it is a hinged section that folds down, much quicker and more convenient.
Wow! Are you making the files available commercially? I'd love a go at printing those tram ends. The roof ends look good too. Are they 3d printed too?
Hopefully at some point in future! I still need to work out a good way of doing it.
That is just superb. Is it able to run along the realigned route that you proposed?
There's a realignment in the works??
There's a couple of deviations both planned and already completed, I'll have to show them in a bit more detail at some stage.
Please do.
