FYI everyone, each bin in your refinery is the equivalent of a ton, so after your cargo hold is full, continue to fill up your refinery until it is full. When you sell what is in your cargo, your refinery will fill your cargo hold with what was in the bins. For this reason, the size 3A refinery is the best. [EDITED] ... that is IF you can afford it, because it is expensive. I decided to mention that since this is intended to be a beginner's guide. By the way, that is THE densest ring I've ever seen!
You did! It's my own fault, I haven't been arsed to figure out the HUD controls (haven't played since that patch with the second HUD mode came out!) Perhaps you did a video on that, too - I'm just off to have a look through your back-catalogue, see if I can find one!

If you want something to guide you with finding ANYTHING in this game go on the internet and goto eddb.io it will assist you beyond what you need and more, it really is an excellent tool to enjoy the game as its meant to be. Hope it helps you. Be patient and familiarise yourself with the site, a note pad and pencil are a must for this game, for me anyway 👍🏻

After you get really good at this, you can overcharge on two low fissures and that usually does it for me.
An inexpensive ship that can deep core mine AND has a second seat. Looks like the Adder makes a great training ship.

Nope, the chunks will despawn qhen you leave the instance unless there is someone there to hold it it open

If you charges bounce off it means you are missing the fissures
Came hoping to find out how to do the bit bit where you fire the thingy into the ring to locate the hotspots. Left disappointed.
But I showed it? You literally just fire a probe in to the ring and it lights up orange, job done!
