    First time hearing this work from Rutter. Very soothing, and loved the ethereal ending! Well sung Magdalen. God bless you all.

    Why are some of the children dressed in red sweaters and not white robes?

      Its because they are 'probationers' - newly joined / under basic training.
      They're not sweaters - but 'cassocks', a full lengh coat,
      I had to wear on with no surplice when I joined my then local choir (many, many years ago....)
