Started learning it about an hour after it dropped at 4PM where I live and it took me so long to finish learning, recording, filming, editing the vid (it is now over midnight hoho) but ahh I had so much fun covering it!!🥺 It was really difficult for me to cover because of the different intonations Yoongi does so I’m sorry for any mistakes and for the lack of power but!! I hope you guys enjoyed it as much as I did covering it🥺🙏
My favorite part has to be the soft rap part near the end!! The instrumentals and the melody oh my 🥰 Also! TMI but the “한탕해먹고” part - the two lines there reminded me of one of the rap parts in NCT Dream’s We Go Up idk why 🤣

Ans: I was born in 1996!
3. Do you speak Korean?
Ans: Not really; I would like to think so but I honestly don’t know my level of korean(?) I self-taught myself how to read Hangul a few months after I got into kpop (got into kpop late 2010 and started learning early 2011). After that I just continued watching shows of the kpop groups I liked and picked up a few things here and there. I never had formal lessons or any lessons at all and I don’t have any korean friends to practice the level of korean I may or may not have with :’) So I think my korean isn’t very good - maybe basic?

she raps god actually, I think sje will be way cooler if she made her rap a little heavy, rapping in a little thicker and heavier voice sounds really good, like,?? it's been only one day and she already memorised ghe whole song so quickly, I thought that I was really good at memorising songs and raps but she right here proved me wrong, like seriously how do ypu memorise suvh a hard song that fast, 24 HOURS, Very impressive, I thought that she was korean thats why she can do the lyrics right and it's easier to memorise, but no, she says she's indonesian, first of all lemme tell you that you are damn talented, second of all please teach me how to memorise korean or other language raps that I don"t know, it takes me about 3 to 4 weeks to memorise an ENGLISH song, and easy raps take 1-2 months and hard ones need 3-4 months and this girl over here memorising a brand new SUGA RAP .aka. It is not that she needs a heavy voice it is that she is basically reading the lyrics. She doesn't have emotions in it which causes it to be dry and boring. She also kind of slurs the words. Which also makes it seem not great. She doesn't have a great technique of breathing because there is some parts that you can hear where she needs to air. No hate intended. She still has room to improve :]
PARK JIMIN I’m sorry I’ll do better next time thank you for your criticism 🙏 I really did try my best 😭 In the video I indeed was reading (lip-syncing) to the audio I pre-recorded. But I really tried putting in a lot of emotion and power into it. Power has always been an issue for me because no matter how hard I try to make my voice “stronger” it comes out soft. It took me 6-7 hours to learn, record, re-record, film and edit the entire thing and ahh I really will do better🙏

everyone keeps saying how fast you were which is true but i wanted to say that agust d's songs can be easy to learn but knowing the lyrics is nothing if you cant execute them well, the thing about Yoongi is that when he raps you can feel the emotion and energy in his voice, a lot of covers know the lyrics but fail to have that same energy as yoongi, I think the way you did this cover was amazing and you really rapped with emotion which made it a great cover, just found your channel and im subscribed now!!
