Very nice airplane for sure. I got the chance to fly one the other night. Belonged to a friend and fellow club member. He put the maiden on it then installed a fresh battery and I got the second flight. very nice flying plane, and is at the top of my wish list.

Thanks Horizon for bringing this one back with some upgrades!! I have the original with about 500 flights on it and it still is one of my favorite RC planes to fly. Now Please bring back the Carbon Z T-28. Another great HH plane that just needs a few upgrades to be really great!!

I wouldn’t tow with a foamie. Get yourself a proper tow plane with enough power to do the job.
@@Cerus98 What are you talkin about? This thing has plenty of power to tow. Being foam has nothing to do with it. This Cub is a straight-up tractor you're tripping. Even the original carbon Z cub was able to tow two 2.5 meter gliders at the same without even breaking a sweat.
Sc1212able this Cub is a beast straight up tractor and will have no problem doing the towing for you. If you really want to go crazy swap the stock motor for a power 60 don't really need it but, can never have enough power especially with Floats on hovers like no other making the water cavitate my farana is underneath. Lol

I'm interested in purchasing this great looking plane, my question is are you using a 5000mah or 7000mah battery on this flight demo and how long is the flight time? Thanks for the video, definitely sold me on getting the plane just want to know best battery.
I use a 5000Mah battery on mine and can fly over 10 minutes if I fly her gently...

Looks good guys excited to see carbon planes coming back. Can’t wait for what is next in the carbon series of planes. All though the cub isn’t for me I know a lot of guys will love it.

Hi i just got mine but i have a big problem. I can't get full throttle on it. It's like it runs on 75% and it cant go vertical more than little while before it slows down. Never had this problem. Could it be a setting in the esc. It is stock pnp.

it's also too expensive being that it's made out of foam. these companies are suckering us. they know they can make this cheaply because it's foam. they try to sell it to us like it's a beautiful balsa plane. give me a break
@@mentuemhet -- they do reinforce the hollow wings with carbon fiber, plywood, and other plastic. So i think also that they use premium parts like big expensive motor, the best servos money can buy and other top notch enhancements. I also wondered why no lights. But I will have to modify the plane and put lights on it (if i can ever afford one).

I love my carbon z, but it's foam dents and marks really easily. Otherwise it's awsome to fly. Great presence in the air. Heaps of power.

We like it on 6s 4400, fits a 7000 pushed back a bit for the long cruises.

i notice absolutely no dihedral on the wings whatsoever. So this is not for the faint of heart, correct? very hard to fly and learn on i'm guessing.
