As a non-Canadian, can I please nominate Mike to be a Canadian Ambassador?!! His laugh is infectious and his constant great attitude makes him the quintessential Canadian persona!! Another great episode, Shaun! Thank you!
Mud is a medium all to itself to drive in. So many different types....We have this clay around here. Thick, sticky stuff. It fills up your tire treads and packs up into your wheel wells. So slippery when its wet you can't even stand up and walk on it.
I'm not from North America, I'm from Europe, but I go with the man with the 2-door jeep everywhere, even if there are technical problems, he's a very cool guy. as we Europeans say a long-distance runner !
That underbody shot, seriously sweet! 👍. Amazing run guys, another excellent video showing Canada has the best of the best offroad trails & challenges.
I'm a Toyota guy, not an off-roader however, but I wouldn't even think about trying that trail in my 4Runner. That's the knarliest trail I've seen and looks perfectly suited for your Jeeps and vice-versa! Impressive!
What I like about your channel, is the beautiful shots, the beautiful spots, the amazing and capable truck and your chilled character. Not the hyped up cafeïne snorting energy that you see everywhere nowadays. And I love Mike as well. Can he even get mad? He seems to be a skilled driver as well. Just keep doing what you do and you will reach your dream of having 1mil subs, no doubt ❤
The notches look massive on film, so I could just imagine what they looked like in person. ... I bet "Mountain Mike" would be a cool guy to adventure with. ... And that long pavement drive home would still have amazing views.
This was one of your best vids to date. Music, drama, uplifting with Mike..it had it all. Music edits were on point too. Keep up the amazing work Shawn!!❤
Talking about being in a rut! Man I've been through some in my day long ago but that was totally insane! Crazy but I loved it. Still the best and still enjoy each new video that comes out. I may not hit the like button all the time but that don't mean I don't like it or not but I do I really enjoy the trails, scenery and the music that goes along with it. Shaun you still have what it takes to produce a outstanding Oscar winning vedios. What amazing places to see. Enjoyed it.
Plastic cherry gas can in Mike’s Jeep just like mine!!!! I bought it at motorcycle shop in St Louis, Mo 30 years ago and made in Canada!!! Love it and still using it today!!!
Loving the videos, hope all is well with the trail destroyer! Mike is like the angry looking Viking that is actually the nicest guy you’ve ever met. Classic Canadian. Would love to have Mike as a friend
WHY do I keep wishing to get content like this on my little channel. WHY do I keep coming back to your channel? WHY???? Oh that's right your the man!!! INCREDIBLE videography. INCREDIBLE scenery. INCREDIBLE friends. INCREDIBLE jeeps. Lol. Another great one buddy. Mike should run for president here in the USA and start a "MAFA" movement. (Make America Fun Again).
The Trail Destroyer reminds me of my ol' '74 GMC Jimmy back in the day. The Jimmy was green too but I thought it was Dirt Brown/Gray. Always a surprise coming out of the car wash. "Oh, it's green." The eastern slopes of the Rockies was where I used to four wheel as well.
Great video, Shaun! I really appreciate the abilities of Jeeps after seeing some of the amazing trails you travel on. I love Toyota but nothing beats the flex and crawl of a Jeep. I miss my TJ and really liked seeing Mike tear it up with his! Thank you for bringing us along!
You have the best/coolest friends, Shaun. I want to meet them all! And I want to camp at that riverside spot, looks like a helluva good spot to fish for some trout
💯👍💯👍EPIC EXCITING ADVENTURE......and the suspension footage of those amazing jerps. Scenery is always beautiful, KUDOS TO YOU BOTH👏👏👏👏 WATCHING THIS AGAIN❤
Watching this video, I won't hate on Yodas or any other independent off road vehicle as I've had both straight axle and independent front suspension. I might try that down hill decent on my Razor, but not in my Gladiator or someone else's new Bronco. Cheers as that was wicked!
Once again another top quality video and editing from Shaun!!… thanks for taking the time to share your adventures with us. It inspires a lot of us to get out and find our own adventure… Thank you!!
Another awesome video Shaun absolutely love the adventure -carving up those trails and navigating those tricky spots. You’re both either so cool, calm and experienced or you do a great job at hiding it, some of those spots would have put me right on edge..! Another great story of two mates having a good time exploring, genuinely enjoying each other’s company, pushing the limits of your vehicles, and exploring nature, love it.. here’s to 1 million subscribers in the near future, all the best, Matt from Australia
Theres a great little trick you can try for starting your truck if the starting motor ever gives you issues. I used to use it on heavy equipment and have used it on my dodge cummins aswell when the starting motor was on its way out. If tapping on the starter doesn’t work, you can “cross her over”. Thats what we used to call it. Basically just grab a wrench and touch it across both terminals on the starter and have your buddy turn the key. I’ve never seen it fail yet👍🏼Great little trick to get you out of a jam and it takes 2 seconds to do. And that was some awesome team work navigating that death notch!
Pretty neat seeing you running some of Alberta’s finest Shaun!! Thanks for sharing awesome content, maybe catch you next time you’re in the area!! Mountain Jeep Mike is a Beauty to run trails with too!! Can’t wait for next week’s episode!!
Congratulations on hitting your 300,000 mark! "Let's do this"! on the million mark!! Excellent adventure!! You guys have some big ones (and we don't mean tires!) to do that huge crevice!! Like to see more with Mike! We're headed to his page now!
I miss his old jeep. I feel like all the videos have turned into "let's just listen to my jeep" now. Still awesome videos and incredibly cinematic. I just prefer the old style
That underbody shot reminded me that I should get with the Ginger on how to cover up that transmission pan! 😅 Been following Mike on his IG for a minute; but good to see more of him here!
I love your video, nice editing. I wish we have such spectacular nature and trails. Completely forbidden to go in the forest by any vehicle here in Czech Republic, but my yamaha tenere is perfect for this😉. Love offroad🙏. I want to by new drone for similar purpose, what drone do you use. I am not sure dji mini 4 pro or dji air 3 to buy. Thanks for respond and for your video. Marek
As a non-Canadian, can I please nominate Mike to be a Canadian Ambassador?!! His laugh is infectious and his constant great attitude makes him the quintessential Canadian persona!! Another great episode, Shaun! Thank you!
Everyone needs a Mike. What a positive dude!
7:50 THIS is why having a competent spotter is invaluable on tough trails. Absolutely IMMACULATE call outs on his behalf.
words truly can't explain the productions quality of these videos. You continue to amaze us with great content! keep it up Shawn!
Mud is a medium all to itself to drive in. So many different types....We have this clay around here. Thick, sticky stuff. It fills up your tire treads and packs up into your wheel wells. So slippery when its wet you can't even stand up and walk on it.
Love how you can make a section of mud look cinematic
I'm not from North America, I'm from Europe, but I go with the man with the 2-door jeep everywhere, even if there are technical problems, he's a very cool guy. as we Europeans say a long-distance runner !
Thanks!!!
Another great video. Here's to 1 mil subs.))
When the fire was crackling, you cracked a beer, and then showed the time-lapse of the starry sky, I felt that 🤎
That underbody shot, seriously sweet! 👍. Amazing run guys, another excellent video showing Canada has the best of the best offroad trails & challenges.
The soul-stirring landscapes in this video are a love letter to those who revel in overlanding serenity and offroading excitement.
The Chef’s table music, with the slow mo/ high def camera in the mud… Nice touch bro, more of that!! 🔥🔥🔥
Also I would trade flex for reliability at times 😂
That timmies cup at 18:08 is as canadian camping as it gets, it's a great starter. Cheers from Ontario!
Another great video. Enjoying every second. Wish I was there
Thank you!
Another great video. Here's to 1 mil subs. You'll make it in no time. Such great content.
That was crazy!!!! That notch was gnarly AF!!! Great job !!
Such amazing scenerie, thank you for sharing
By far the best 4x4 content on the Tube!
:37 I did the same thing with one of my hardtops about 20 years ago and still use it till this day. It's a great way to run the rig!
One of your best videos, thank you. I wish there were trails like that near me.
Glad you enjoyed it!
with the classical music going through the mud!! Love it!!
Incredible wheeling and mad driving skills. Impressive. Thanks.
I'm a Toyota guy, not an off-roader however, but I wouldn't even think about trying that trail in my 4Runner. That's the knarliest trail I've seen and looks perfectly suited for your Jeeps and vice-versa! Impressive!
so much in life seems stressful right now but when I watch these videos, I feel amazing. thank you for that feeling 🙂🤝

I am in love with your videos 🫠,Another great episode, Shaun .
Wow, you guys really covered some ground while in Alberta. Great places to see and camp, especially that last spot 👍
love old body TJs. exactly what a jeep is meant to do
The notches look massive on film, so I could just imagine what they looked like in person. ... I bet "Mountain Mike" would be a cool guy to adventure with. ... And that long pavement drive home would still have amazing views.
What a crazy trail! Mike is truly amazing and a great partner to be out there with. Again, awesome shots!!! Thanks, shaun!
Those notches are scary I couldn't do it from the anxiety I would be having. Props to you guys this is crazy work
Kind of reminds me of Moab/slick rock except dirt.
This was one of your best vids to date. Music, drama, uplifting with Mike..it had it all. Music edits were on point too. Keep up the amazing work Shawn!!❤
Appreciate that
Mountain Mike is a good soul, what a great friendship yall got.

Riding the notches looks wild!! Awesome spotting 👍
I love you Shaun but Mike, what a beast!
Plastic cherry gas can in Mike’s Jeep just like mine!!!! I bought it at motorcycle shop in St Louis, Mo 30 years ago and made in Canada!!! Love it and still using it today!!!

Awesome video as always Shaun. This was a awesome and epic adventure the clearing at the top of the trail had some spectacular views.
The level of terror of some of those tracks would have made them insane to drive. Well done in the bravery stakes.
Loving the videos, hope all is well with the trail destroyer!
Mike is like the angry looking Viking that is actually the nicest guy you’ve ever met. Classic Canadian. Would love to have Mike as a friend

My mom's from Iowa!! I'm in!!

Fantastic route, fantastic shots. Such images, in these perspectives, are really of a very high level. This is what sets you apart from most others.
Nice trail and great driving skills for both of you. I think patient is a key as well...🙂
Enjoy & take care...🙂👍
Great video, Shaun! I really appreciate the abilities of Jeeps after seeing some of the amazing trails you travel on. I love Toyota but nothing beats the flex and crawl of a Jeep. I miss my TJ and really liked seeing Mike tear it up with his! Thank you for bringing us along!
