Yoo, can you expand/elaborate this please? I didn't play LK PvP so idk details about it. In the later xpacs Warr/Fire/H.pal didn't seem bad even today, so what makes it "off meta" or even "bad" in current season of LK?
There were very few meta comps in wotlk. They all had names like rmp, beast cleave, rls. This comp may have been viable back then but it was far from meta. We were all 16 or so back then so I’m sure there were a lot more comps that were good. We just didn’t have the knowledge we do today.
It's off-meta because you don't see it often on the ladder, and it also didn't make an appearance during the official wrath classic tournament. Fire mage takes a while to get going in this expansion, you desperately need Solace, whereas Ele Shams are just big champs immediately @@Samuel-pt2tl
Haha well, I could do a guide, but honestly just watching some VoDs on this channel or on my twitch will get you up to speed quicker. You can also watch Albraik, him and Mir run a clean rogue/mage.
Can you pls share your build and gear for this set up.. Your frost mage break down is haste focused, fire needs crit.. BGs are packed with fire mages and I think it would be great if you did a full fire breakdown..

I gotta try fire wmpala thanks to your video, I managed to get 2300+cr as frost wmpala with high mp5,haste,resil spellsteal build could of gone higher if season didn't end. Do you think that going with high mp5 build to spellsteal the shields and live longer while warrior pummels away and you still keep high crit and high resil playing like you played would be even more effective.?? theorycrafting here.. before wotlk ends
High mp5 is the name of the game for Fire. You need Solace no matter what and 3/3 master of elements. There is a build where you gear Spirit and wear Molten Armor so you don't lose crit, but I think it's a bait. Just wear Solace and Insightful Earthsiege Diamond and you're good to go. You could even run the Lunar Dust trinket for even more regen but Phylactery is likely better. Check my channel for some season 8 gearing ideas!

It's not shown so much in these clips, but the more we played the more I swapped to Ice Armor or Molten Armor vs Thunder or TSG and the like. It's not the biggest difference maker so often times I stick around in Mage Armor out of habit though.

How much haste and resilience were you running for this fire wmpala 3s?
Around 1100 resil and 3-4% Haste. I'd run 1100 MINIMUM then run 5-10% Haste depending on what feels good when you are 100% fully geared.
And to be clear, crit is the priority for fire, but you need a tiny bit of haste in the end.
What addon you use to see CD's or your partners???

Yeah season 7 / 8 is pretty much peak fire mage!
Why are you in mage armor vs some cleaves? I mean any point in molten armor or you just didn't care vs melee.
