I'm trying to narrow down a vibration felt in my driver seat. When my 2012 Mazda 3 2.0 non sky is put in drive but not in reverse there's a vibration felt in the seat. The rpm hovers about 600 to 650 in drive. I've already replaced the passenger and rear mount. Is the tranny mount the culprit? great video.
My 2010 Mazda3 I just bought literally had a coil bolt missing from the engine… It was misfiring but never threw a code? Also has a massive valve cover leak into the spark plug holes/ side of engine. Crazy stuff, Mazdas thankfully are easy.
What indications would suggest these need replacing? I replaced my spark plugs no issues, idol is fine. 2013 and originals still in 200,000k The duce drop was funny. What is the model number of the coil packs for mazda 3 skyactiv?
@@ColtonRichter OK I will assume its gas cap or some other issue kicking up my check engine light then. Oil change didn't help. I may get a code reader.
The horn is located below the driver's (left) side headlight (beneath / beside the air filter / intake). You should probably put the front of the car on ramps or jackstands. There are three Phillips head screws that hold the plastic wheel-well piece to the front, left, underside corner of the bumper. Just follow the wiring from the horn up to your steering column.
@@poloshow04 it'll really depend on how mazda decided to do it that year, I'd check on mazda forums or do an electrical test on each wire when hitting the horn
Had to emergency pull into the nearest Ford dealership with my 2014 Mazda 3 as the engine was misfiring and I was late for work. Cannot believe I got raped for $550 on parts and labor to replace a spark plug and ignition coil. Had I known it was this simple, I would've done it myself.
Science- the conductors to the sparkies haven't got any damage to wiring from age so you're getting the full current without losing any dispersion along the flow. Didn't explain it clearly but I'm sure you get it... Unsure if this video had more content on the install or need for a deuce. Something tells me you need a bucket with a sealed lid and a bag of lime salts to hide in a corner 😅

Tranny mount could be, but you'll always get a vibration in drive when holding the brake.
Can a bad ignition coil affect the transmission performance.?

I noticed some lugging & poor peformance, as to why I did new spark plugs thinking that would do it but coil pack blew out.

Random misfires, anything spark related. You should be good to go, I'm still on originals in my other MZ3 at 237,000km.
