Hello Friends, I’m feeling much better and can now record audio again. Anyway i wanted to do something a bit different this week so i reworked some older videos that cover all the history and lore of Season 1 of House of The Dragon into one huge video. Plus this helped with the issue of losing my voice. ANYWAY this turned out to be a bigger job than i thought, half the raw files got lost when i moved to a new setup, some audio was lost that then had to be re-recorded as best i could with little voice i had and i think it worked. I also had to seamlessly connect the videos and remove all the outro music. I also added in a extra 25 ish minutes of stuff that was cut from the original videos. Anyway of your a long time subscriber i don’t expect you to watch this whole thing, it just i’ve had a few people request i do this over the lsat few weeks and this seemed like the best time to try it. And oh… I do apologies for the audio quality, i’ve got a new mic since theses videos were made and frankly i’ve worked on my narration a lot. Anyway despite the fact house of the dragon is over till 2024 i plan on sticking to 3 videos a week for the foreseeable future. I will also be merging the shorts channel into this channel now they have sorted analytics out, so there will be shorts coming soon. And finally i will be launching in 2023 a spanish language version of this Channel with the help of my Girlfriend, who’s from spain who will be translating and narrating my back catalog. I am learning spanish but trust me you don’t want me narrating videos in it. Thanks for the huge support of the last 10 weeks of house of the dragon. The growth and viewership has been way way way bigger than i every thought it would be. We grew by about 15,000 subs, and in the last month alone gained 2.5 million views. I never thought i’d reach these kinds of numbers after doing this for four years, and i cannot find the words to express how grateful i am. 2024 is a long way of so lets slog through the long wait together, if george could drop winds of winter now that would be ideal.

If I was in the writer’s room Aemond would have murdered Luke in cold blood. I feel like we needed a sort of Joff killing Ned type of moment, and the Dance beginning on an accident is definitely a bold choice for me… do I like it more? Not really, is it an okay choice? For sure.
Aemond still ultimately holds responsibility for chasing Luke as he did. So it's more an accident that's the result of a character's choice, that sets Aemond up for his negative character arc into the War-Criminal he is in the Riverlands.
I think they did it to even out the Black v. Green arguments. If Aemond killed Luce in cold blood, it's hard to argue that the Greens aren't solely responsible for the war. I would have preferred a little more ambiguity, but I can see and respect why they made the choice to be a clear cut accident on Aemond's part (Vhagar knew what she was doing). Seems like Aemond is going to treat it as if he had done it intentionally. It'll be interesting to see his psychology evolve from here out.
The book is written from the point of view of a Maester. He wasn't there to see how Lucerys died. So the writers of the show have more freedom to show us how exactly everything happened
@@charlesfh3496 they do have the freedom, and it’s a choice that’s not gonna ruin the story for me, but I was lowkey wanting murder. The line “Your eye or your life” is proof for me when every single person that was there can confirm Aemond said that. But as I said, it’s not a bad choice, I would have just preferred the other one
HBO should not have caved into the modern day politics of having to have blacks in every television show. The House of Dragon was supposed to be the introduction to the historical development of the families in Game of Thrones, which had no black families. So HBO tampers with history and introduces black families in power. So what now? Suddenly any future developments and spin offs in the future time line after Game of Thrones now has to make that fabricated black families history work. So previously white actors will need to be replaced with bi-racial actors since black is now in a family line that was previously white etc... It's a real case of caving in to modern day politics even if it means making a good tv show go bad because of irregularities and expecting the viewers to absorb that crap, pretending they can forget the original Game of Thrones had no black families. What a pity.
I find this contradictory to the story line. It’s heavily implied in the books that Rhaenyra’s sons are not Velaryon bloodline, with the confirmation of GRRM involved in the development of the the spin-off and complete written works to play off, I think it’s safe to say, they were clarifying the fact that they were not, in fact, Velaryon blood. But, if your creative projection ends at physical appearance, then you are why new talent can’t emerge.
There was definately Black _people_ in GOT, so it's not much of a stretch that there would be prominent black families also. We haven't seen Asian either. That doesn't mean they don't exist.

@@Cheka__ doesn't matter. He couldn't do that. Its not an absolute monarchy
@@Aemond2024He can do that. An absolute monarchy is exactly what it is. Westeros doesn't have a parliament.
@@everhall306 I can see that
I think they did it to even out the Black v.
I hate the phrases like ''freshly flowered'' so much
How about _moist_ ? Lol
HI AL DID ADAM ABANDON U BECAUSE OF A DISAGREEMENT, I HOPE NOT, ANGELA IN MT.
Bro y does it matter if there is black velaryons grrm don’t got a problem with it y do u it literately doesn’t change the story at all
I find this contradictory to the story line.
Haunghty, lol.
