I watched the Good Doctor way back but I still love how Joo Won portrayed the character. This series made me want to protect him, hug him, and tap him on his back whenever I get the chance. Joo Won is pretty slim here but now, he's a good-looking leading man with killer arms and abs.
I don't know what this is but I don't regret to watch that 😍 he looks so innocent and cute that I felt that I have to protect him ☺ I'll look up what this is about 😁
This is THE original “good doctor” in Korea. USA made their own version. Japan also made their own version. Both versions suck compared to original in my opinion. They all have a different feel to them. Like one is more practical or emotional than the others.

I admit I'll be biased since I watched the Korean version first but seriously nothing could compare to the original once you have watched it. You'll just start nitpicking at what's the same, what's different, but to be unfair, I think the cast and plot really set the bar high for adaptations -- especially Joowon's stunning performance. The other versions have talented actors and actresses too, but nothing can top Jowon's portrayal of Shi On was spot-on; I could sense that he (Shi On) was able to feel emotions, but not express them until later in the series.

Autistic savants are actually genius in a certain field. For instance, this autistic specializes in spacial imagination hence he did a great job being in a medical field since he can imagine in 4D certain points and injuries of a person.
The times he said "Wow" when seeing the potato lump soup hahaha And I can't remember that he was able to drink alone haha so grown up but still cute =) This is the best version of Good Doctor, of course it's the original.. But I love it better than the US version, because of Si-on's purity and innocence. ♥
@@okumurax8839 I honestly don't think any adaptations can be "better" than the original, because at the end of the day most people watched the original first and even those who don't may find themselves comparing the two. Where the plots diverge or converge, people will have complaints; if the plot is too similar, people may lament about the lack of originality, but if the plot is too different, people will critique and pinpoint the flaws in the storyline. If we look at other Korean-adapted dramas like You're Beautiful, I don't think any other version can be "superior" to the original because it's just the way it is, and by no means the adapted versions' fault. While I prefer the Korean version of "It Started With A Kiss" (Playful Kiss), this doesn't make it any better (or worse) than the original version.
This show is way better than the English version in my opinion. I'm so satisfied with the story of Dr park and Dr cha, unlike the English version. I left the English version in the middle after the break up of Dr Carly and Dr Shaun. And now to heal my mind I'm watching the Korean one. 💗💗

I found out about this from the American version. I wanted to watch an episode to see how the character does stuff and I saw it was based off the Korean version which I didn’t know there was another version. It looks interesting, is the American version only similar to the original because of the character having autism or is the rest of the storyline similar as far as what happened when he was a child or does anyone know?
I haven't seen the American version, except for bits of the first episode, which seems a lot like the original's first episode. Biggest difference is some details Hollywood tends to get wrong a lot in medic series, from what I could see.
The funny thing about the TV series is that Joo Won is my favorite Korean actor and Freddie is my favorite American actor so when I found out about the American version I was so surprised :)
