@Lokisus73011 i've heard them go off at a Home Depot once, then my first middle school and the portables at the second middle school I've went along with the white L-Series
Da hell?! Why the fuck are these stupidly loud horn strobes installed here? I'd honestly just hoped they'd get replaced with a voice evacuation system or I just hope those Advances are the Chime Strobe variant, the CHSR, which is much quieter than your actual SpectrAlert Advance.
@@erikmorozov1740 Good. That won't startle the patients and these are actually modeled CHSR for the Chime Strobe. They are not nearly as loud as the Horn/Strobes.
They are everywhere in my town.Oh wow.
The chime strobe of the advance looks exactly the same so they could be chimes
I doubt it because these chime strobes don't usually have fire lettering
@@pfefferwalI've got a P2W with fire lettering
That is probably a CHSR
You cant really tell if its a 2 wire ir a 4 wire just by looking at the exterior of the alarm
good to know a fire alarm enthusiast in my area (houston tx)
They might be system sensor CHSR’s you never know
They should have gone with simplex low frequency voice evac alarms which are much quieter than an advance or an alarm with a chime instead.
Another hospital (same franchise brand) has a Simplex TrueAlert ES system but I'm not sure what panel they use
@@pfefferwal cool!Simplex true alert es must be the newer model alarm and voice evac for simplex.
@@pfefferwalIt would be a 4100ES if it’s TrueAlertES speakers.
Not that big of a deal. They’re installed everywhere including places like this all the time
Uhhhhh you didn’t take down the advance and look at the model number did you???
no because if I did that bad things could happen, or worse...
I’m assuming that u heard them go off before

Maybe those are Chime strobe models or on low volume if horn strobes so as a result not too loud

That literally makes no sense to put these in a hospital!
Just to scare some fucking patients that especially hate really loud fire drills!
