Our search and yearning for Kheema Pav in Bangalore ended up at Suryawanshi Restaurant. Though we have been to Suryawanshi few times and hand had thalis, this is the first time we got our hands on Kheema Pav. In one word, it was mind--blowing. It was a completely spicy affair, where that pop of heat will linger on your palate for a while, even after you finish the meal, but it's a lovable fieriness. If the spices elevated the dish on one end, the tender minced meat completed the dish on the other end. The spongy delicate Pav played its part well in accentuating the goodness of Kheema.
Equally good were the Batata Vada and the Ginger Tea.The thin crusted batata vada with a mild mushy but falvourful potato filling and each mouthful was an explosion of flavours. Ginger tea added the warmth and zing to this overall snacking experience.
