I always find it curious when one of your videos or some educational material comes out Right when I need it. I recently passed a prop firm evaluation and got funded about 10X what I normally trade. I've been getting used to the size difference, and working on not cutting my winners too soon (even a small win looks bigger now so I've been tending to take profits quicker, which is probably also akin to not wanting to take losses since small losses are bigger too)...and Voila! You release a video with Mandi discussing problems of newer prop-traders:) Thanks for the content, as always. Gives me some more things to think about in my reviews.
What a wonderful interview !!! I loved every minute of it. Every piece of advise Mandi gives is sooo incredibly valuable. She transmits an extremely positive message to all of us that are still struggling to make it in this ridiculously difficult business. Danke vielmals, Mandy! Herzliche Grüße aus Bolivien 🇧🇴
etienne and mandy i thank you both so much. you both are such great influences on young and older traders alike aswell as to the new and expiernced traders. priceless alpha ...
I saw all of Mandy’s interviews. For this one. She is right with prop firms. “Giving up own identity”. This could be mostly young people never ever really have a place of work. Because. There you have to follow others people’s rules. And sometimes your boss is 10 years younger than you. Or more. That’s the main problem.
Deliberately losing real money might not be the most advisable approach for learning. It's generally recommended to focus on gaining experience through responsible trading practices, education, and risk management. However opening a small-sized account and intentionally experiencing losses, even though you strive to avoid them, is considered the best way for beginners to learn I agree.
I really love it when Mandi comes to the pod.
Always a great talk!!
Mandi is best

Yes as long as you don’t overdo it. That small account shouldn’t create extra pressure.
