- Tomorrow on Tuesday 18th July, Preach will go head to head with Echo to take on the latest Criterion Dungeon, Mount Rokkon. One day only, best % wins, with forfeits for Mike and Scripe. Also Mike gives his plans for the rest of the year including Exilecon, Blizzcon and Fanfest.

Thats right. Tomorrow Mike and his intrepid gang of honey yellow warriors will be facing head to head with the best Echo has to offer. One day, no holds barred Criterion Dungeon showdown!
I felt compelled to make a silly Echo RWF style trailer for it, but with almost no time and only 15 seconds of footage from the dungeon to work with, I had to improvise. So please enjoy that janky creation.

it would have been lovely to meet you with some drink during the fan fest but i am going with 2 other mates who got tickets who doesn't know you even exist so not gonna drag them to something where it is 100 people tops. but who knows i might bump into you at the fan fest event itself. only 4000 people going so the odds should be good.

Like Karazhan during Legion was? Not really. There’s less trash and bosses but they are notably harder. Sorry if I misunderstand what you mean.
@@tade219 he meant something like this piece of shit dungeon that appeared in the middle of shadowlands, people was happy for a week and than everyone forgotten its even there xD .... Nah Criterion Dungs are not like that...
@@Ryuusaku1986 What I actually mean is Operation: Mechagon, Tazavesh, the Veiled Market, the Return to Karazhan (retroactively), and Dawn of the Infinite.
All are mega dungeons with more bosses and higher item level requirements that play more like a mini raid than they do a dungeon. They have 2 difficulty settings just like there is criterion and criterion savage.
Based on both wikis i'd say say a Heroic Mega Dungeon is more comparable to a basic Criterion Dungeon but the extra gimmicks of disabling things may make them more difficult over WoWs. I don't have a good metric to measure that however. But on surface level it would appear like FF might be more difficult over the gimmicks alone. However there is no Mythic Mega Dungeon so it doesn't have a Savage counter part at all.
The concept is about the same however the difficulty is how they differ.
(And if you always reference SL you will always be able to say what you're comparing it to is literally better. That's a low standard/bar to pick from. People weren't sticking around to play SL for like hundreds of reasons lol. Certainly not just because the mega dungeon was something they didn't wanna keep doing. More so because of everything you had to do as well getting in the way of letting people just have fun.)
@@MilkshakeGuruTTVthere has only been 1 criterion dungeon so far, with the 2nd one being the subject of the video. from what the savage (mythic) raiders in my free company (guild) are saying is that the normal version is on par with savage raids and the savage version is pure torture. The dungeon itself is not really similar to how WoW does mega-dungeons. It has only three bosses, with a small amount of trash, which is also hard to kill. So in a way it is more of a squished down raid in terms of number of bosses, group size and focus on bosses, rather than it being similar to WoW raids, being long with 8 to 9 bosses or mythic plus where speed matters and pathing through the dungeon too.
