- The LUNKERHUNT Spider is one of the most innovative bass baits to hit the market in a long time. There's been lots gimmicks thrown at anglers over the years but this is a bait that does not disappoint!

Got three of these (different colors) used the first time yesterday and literal
lost count of the number of fish I caught. The best day so far this summer.

I used to fish a public park with a few ponds, one with scum, one that was fairly clean, and one with pads throughout. On the scummy and pad ponds this lure outfished any other frog I threw in there. I threw finesse frogs, big frogs, your standard sized frogs… nothing compared to the spider. It goes through and even under pads and seems to always find its way through the pads instead of sitting flat on top of them. Perfect finesse topwater in my opinion
They look amazingly real, way, way too real. As a long time member of the Arachnophobia Club, this might not be the best bait for me.

Yep, I think frogs are just as nice, although I am very much in favor of anything that eats spiders!
I'm going now with the black widow in Massachusetts. My son picked it out when he was about 6. I just found it in the basement. 🤞

The spider is freaky because it has amazingly real action when you retrieve it. It’s just amazing and one of my new favorite baits this year!

Caught 2 today on the bigger version..4 lb. & 2 1/2 lb...they killed it! Spinning gear, 30 lb. Braid...great hookup! This finesse type setup will always be in the kayak! I'm impressed with the spider...couldn't get them to hit the frog today

I just finally picked up my box today going to try out my spider tomorrow. this month's box is freaking loaded
Just got one because it looks cool but I'm wondering if I should put it on a spinning reel or bait caster can I get some advice
I threw that bait this morning, had one blowup but no hooking and no action. My lake's shoreline is all rock, boulders to softball size to ledges. No shoreline vegetation. I tossed into shallow shaded areas, v-e-r-y slow soft jerk retrieves, since spider often stay in one spot for awhile before moving. You're fishing in high vegetation areas. Do you think that's a better environment to fish the spider?
I bought the black version because I’m too impatient for my box to get here. I was getting nothing yesterday until I started throwing the spider. Unfortunately my daughter was tired but I had one huge blowup.

What fishing kayak do you use? I have a ranger boat but am looking for a kayak for shallow areas
Love the phantom spider! Mine’s starting to take in water and sink soon after landing. Any tips on how to keep it on top of the water? Is there a small float or something we can shove into the body to help it?
Mine was doing that too but I just run it as a swim bait at that point. I still have gotten a couple bites underwater but missed them

I liked that spider but I've not used lunkhunt baits at all and the skitter lizard just made me laugh...it looks like a Godzilla toy and now I don't trust them. Anyways,I think I'll give that spider a shot

Spiders work great and are a ton-o-fun but superglue is still needed on the legs IMO or you are spending a lot of money for a short timer bait. Good video. Tight Lines & God Bless.

Not a fan of my monster bass this month I think lunkerhunt is more of a gimmick I guess I'm just old school I like to fish not like these kids just to do challenges to put on RUclips I feel like that was a RUclips box
I agree with part of it. I have had terrible luck with lurker hunt in the past, there frogs are the least durable lure i have ever used and takes on water like nothing else. That said i am glad to not get any chase baits stuff this month, because look like they are creating lures to catch fishermen not fish.
