Swamiji predicts that Amrutha's son will be an avatar of Krishna and that he will destroy Mayavathy! Mayavathy tells Varsha that they should not let Amrutha give birth to her baby. Varsha fears that she would end up as a servant in the Desai House. She decides to bear a child soon.
The story walks through the happenings in Desai family. It is a traditional business family, headed by strict and stubborn Urmila Devi. Varsha and Amrutha, the two daughter in laws of Desai family, differs in personality. Amrutha is a lovable, innocent girl, who is the favorite daughter in law of Urmila, while Varsha is very selfish and rude. Arjun, Amrutha’s husband behaves like he has no love towards her. However, there is love and care inside the heart of Arjun, which is yet to come out in the open.
