- I love South Park - it's a great show, and the games they've put out prior to this were pretty good! How is this one? Worth playing? Or should I just stay inside today?

I have to agree, I loved the last 2 games (Stick and Fractured) bought both of them played them a ton, but this game just doesn't have that special something that makes me feel like it's a South Park episode. It feels like a poorly done knockoff game of the show
my thoughts as well - if you removed the Southpark artwork, it could be any game. I suppose that's a bit of a weak argument, as that could be said about many games - But the Southpark games, and good games in general - have a "feel" about them, and when it comes to writing they really dropped the ball here, on top of the unpolished combat. Really disappointing. I'll come back to it.

It's $60 here in Australia. The humour was toned down so much comparing it to the previous 2 games. I also feel that it's way too short. It feels like Happy Wars but with South Park sprinkled over it
Such a shame! Hopefully it gets some love in the future with some patches or something!
I wasn't even tempted to buy this game in the first place because the trailers did such a poor job of selling it and the gameplay looks like ass. Very disappointing, considering how good the previous two games were.
I avoided anything that could spoil it, and hoped it would pull through, but I'm waiting for patches (if they happen) to give it another shot. Thanks for checking it out! I appreciate you!

Good question! I'm not actually sure if they ever got updates! I'll have to look and see. I really wanted SD to come out swinging. I think (and want to believe) that they just released it a bit too early, and there is more in store for us.

I refunded it after 56 mins.
It felt rushed and lacking.
Character creation was terrible.
Not to mention iv heard it’s short.
Oh and my game crashed 2 mins in.
I've heard of it crashing on consoles and PC, what were you playing on? PC?
I got to play it without spending a cent, even at $30 that buggy mess of a game is not worth it. Maybe at $0.99 is fine if you just see it as a short shovelware product.
It really feels unfinished, hopefully they give it some love!
I loved the game. it was short simple and fun. It was half the price of a full game.
I have to agree - it was fun, and surprisingly short. I was disappointed though, following the most recent two I suppose I was expecting a bit more - I'll give it another shot in a month or two!

If this game didn’t take 5 hours to finish then it would been a bit decent

I wish i could refund my ps5 version. I have made it to the 2nd mission in 6 hours because it wont. Stop. Crashing.

@@NOFRILLS_GAMING You ask what's missing. What's missing, friend, is the experience of playing with Stan, Kyle, Kenny, Cartman, and the others. They're just...there to talk to you and give you items, powerups, etc. Unlike in Stick and Fractured where you could actually team up with characters, this just has them barking in your ear all the time trolling you.
That's why this doesn't feel like playing an episode of South Park. You're in South Park, but you're not with the characters that make it special. You're just with three CPUs or three random people on the internet.
Also where are Wendy and the girls? Why is it just the boys, Henrietta, and a few adults?

What a half baked video... its clunky...why is clunky?... i had fun with it.. what was fun about it?... its not south park... why isnt it south park? This video was made for clicks because of the subject matter.
By "clunky" I mean stiff and clumsy. I did have fun with it, but I don't feel it's quite ready for full release and a full priced sale. Have you played the other games? They all "felt" more like an immersive "South Park experience" than this did for me.
As far as making videos for clicks, of course! I wouldn't be putting out videos if I didn't want to share! Does the video seem spammy to you? Not my intent, I was truly disappointed with it.

I JUST put together your profile photo and name - love it! Was first introduced to katamari at a punk show my band was playing, dude was playing it projected onto the wall. It was great! Spent a couple hours playing after the show. Good times!
