I saw this track performer by the MSG- Line up around 1987/1988 in KB Halllen in Copenhagen - majestic! Steve Mann was a star even then :)

10 marts 1988 as a support to Def Leppard. A funny story is MSG should never played that show, but was called in because Poison cancelled. On the original concert poster is Def and Poison. My first concert ever

Тот случай когда песня не испорчена. А наоборот заиграла новыми красками. Великолепные музыканты. Шикарный голос. За соло отдельное спасибо!

Blow a kiss from your hand
I'll catch it 'fore it hits the ground
Cry a little for our fears baby baby
I'm so scared there's something wrong
I hid you in the corner of my empty room
    Never really cared 'til now
Not standin' in the corner for me anymore
    You've done your time pass
Your sentence and I'll pass mine
And when my time is through
Can I still come home to you
    Anytime anytime you want me
    Anytime anytime you're lonely
You just have to call, 'cos you know I'll be there
    Anytime anytime you need me
    Anytime anytime maybe you're dreamin'
Wakin' up all alone your heart is screamin'
I know I caused you so much pain
I promise that I'll never hurt you again
    Even though the scars remain
With a little time I know we can win
Can't stop this fire, lost control over my desire
It burns for you like it always used to do
    Anytime anytime you want me
    Anytime anytime you're lonely
You just have to call, 'cos you know I'll be there
    Anytime anytime you need me
    Anytime anytime maybe you're dreamin'
Wakin' up all alone your heart is screamin'
And after the war is over
    And all the fighting's through
Can I make my peace with you
I wanna come home to you
    Anytime anytime you want me
    Anytime anytime you're lonely
You just have to call, 'cos you know I'll be there
    Anytime anytime you need me
    Anytime anytime maybe you're dreamin'
Wakin' up all alone your heart is screamin'

Every part of this song is fabulous...but the unsung hero is without question Rocky Newton on bass. Go back and listen to the entire Save Yourself album...it is worth it. They had the bass out on the front of the mix on a majority of this album (and especially this song) and Newton absolutely killed it. Amazing stuff.

Have to agree, and if I recall correctly, Rocky wrote 'Bad Boys'. Last time I heard, Rocky was managing bands in Grantham. Looking out for more Lionheart stuff, love this.

Great singer in there. Is the blond guitar player the same dude that plays rhythm fie schenker today? The bass player seems to be the same dude that played on schenker album. Anyway solid stuff guys.

Rocky Newton is our bass player. Rocky also hooked up with MSG back in 1985 and was part of the McAuley Schenker Group, along with fellow Lionheart band member, Steve Mann

@@LionheartMusic I saw McSG with Whitesnake in what, '87? I think Steve was on sabbatical from the band as I recall. This version is top dollar - awesome vocals from Rocky and the vocalist. Oh, I just realised I'm old... I saw Dennis with Maiden (supporting Judas Priest) too... LOL

  • @northdevonpictures826

A good effort missing Michael's magic. The bass, drums and vocals are okay, the lead guitars are too quiet and don't quite hit the spot. All that said, nothing could beat the album track.
