  • "The words Thank You seem so small for the gratitude and appreciation I have for you Doc. You have given me a chance to feel what living without pain is like. I am not used to walking, sitting, standing, sleeping, without pain. From the bottom of my heart, I thank you for caring so much for your patients. You’ve given me the ability to enjoy my family painless.
    Blessings to you for all you do. "
    Sharlene S, PA, Arachnoiditis Warrior
    If you suffer from medication and treatment-resistant neuropathy, research non-invasive (also called alternative therapy) as an option to end or significantly reduce your nerve pain. Calmare scrambler therapy is an FDA-cleared treatment that can painlessly lessen or eliminate nerve pain through a series of treatments using electrical scrambler therapy to gently end the misfiring 'pain message' the brain often sends.
    One of the many reasons Calmare Pain Therapy has changed the face of pain management is the fact that is can lessen, or in Sharlene’s case, eliminate neuropathy caused by various types of injury or diseases, like arachnoiditis, complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS), postherpetic neuralgia (PHN) after Shingles, fibromyalgia and light bruises to extensive surgery.
    If you or a loved one feels that you are at the end of the line of pain management options, you are not. Reach out and let’s talk about your battle. You and I will speak directly and there is no consultation fee, of course. Call our clinic, located outside New York City, at (201) 933-4440 or email us at info@calmaretherapynj.com.
    Let’s start fighting back against your pain today, no more waiting for tomorrow.

      I could not agree more, Nancy. The majority of patients we treat have spend months, years and even decades trying to find relief from chronic nerve pain. I refer to these people as 'warriors.' It's incredibly gratifying to be able to help most of these patients. Dr. Michael Cooney

    Can this help someone with arachnoiditis who's pain isnt constant? Can it be used as a preventive measure for the pain that is progressing?

    • @CalmareTherapyNJ
      @CalmareTherapyNJ  3 года назад +1

      Dear Miwa, Great question--Generally, Arachnoditis will be difficult to treat if the pain isn’t constant--we need to isolate symptoms.
      Scrambler therapy is used to lessen or eliminate chronic nerve pain. While I wish it could also be preventative, it is used to reduce existing pain. I hope this helps answer your questions and wish you every success in your treatment efforts. Best regards, Dr. Michael Cooney, Clinical Director, Calmare Therapy NJ USA

    I’ve been dealing with Arachnoiditis since a motorcycle accident in 2010. I swear it’s getting worse. I have pain everyday. I’ve learned to deal with the 10 or more shooting pain I get daily… it’s the days that I have hours of reoccurring pain, like contractions, that deliver pain from level 1 to 10 in a split second. Nothing has touched it … opioids, muscle relaxers, exercise, therapy or implanted pain stimulator. I feel without hope, from what I read, and it definitely affect my daily living.

I am one of the few Calmare providers who has treated treated several cases of arachnoiditis. If you contact them, ensure that they understand this disease, which is know to be difficult to treat, as you know all too well. Finally, if you would consider traveling to the US for treatment with me, I would be happy to set up a video consult with you within the next 10 days, if that helps. Regardless, wishing you every success. Do not give up finding a therapy to reduce your pain. Dr. Cooney.

      @@CalmareTherapyNJ What kind of help would you be able to give?
      My case is basically, I was poked 8x INCORRECTLY with an epidural in my low back; given to prevent pain during childbirth. A new doctor came in, poked me once in my upper back and it was finally correct.
      Ever since, for almost 7 years I have been in agony 24/7 exacerbated by noise, which makes the pain become level 10+ in an instant (for example, when someone slams a car door). I got to find this out when I dropped something on the floor at the hosptial after giving birth, and I went to bend over to pick it up, and found I could no longer bend over without intense severe agonizing pain. At the time I could not bend over but have since re-learned every movement to prevent having to bend while still being able to, sort of.
      I dont know if its just Oregon, or the hospitals are trying to protect each other or what. The time to sue has since passed, why do they still ignore this? I am given no help for my condition, and at best some doctors here even make fun of my pain.
