I can't wait to try this! Do we save these the same as other Canva designs we have created? How about it we want to save them to send to someone or even sell a design?
I was able to do one just fine. The second one, though, I do exactly the same steps and when I upload it back into canva it doesn't come in as a frame - there is no delete image, it only deletes the whole thing. I have double and triple checked that I'm saving as a PSD.
What does it mean when it says clip path by the image in photopea? I've tried this multiple times and I can not get it to work. I saved image from canva as SVG
I suspect the SVG is not an SVG that is able to be filled in. SVG is a file type meaning Scalable Vector Graphic. But it needs to be a black SVG silhouette to be able to be filled in, in Photopoea.
@sellingdigital Ok thanks. Got another question...why are some cliparts say $2.00 for a single png image and yet sets of maybe 20 clipart png images are also $2.00? Which style of sale would you choose?
Yes cliparts, PNG files etc. are so difficult to price right now. For a lot of shops that have thousands of files, it can be very easy for them to bundle and do a low price. This is because they may have created there files YEARS ago and it doesn't phase them to sell so cheap. This is also a tactic that can work if you are using ads or other marketing because you are getting so many sales that the low amount ads up. I personally sell between 1 to 4 PNG files for $4 each and usually have a discount of 25% or 50% off. This works for me right now. I have noticed that my single designs or smaller bundles of like 6 or less sell much more than those huge bundles of 100 or more. Id say play around with it and what you feel its worth for you.
Theo is my cat's doppelganger! I adopted him on 10-8-23 and he is massive which is why he is named Moby. Theo is beautiful! I do have a question. I have a Creative Fabrica subscription. Can I take any Creative Fabrica POD image/design, make it into a Canva Frame and then sell that Canva frame as a digital product. If so, could it be sold as a POD digital download?
@@sellingdigital while waiting for your reply and in need of an answer, I messaged Creative Fabrica. I was told that I could NOT do that. They said that I'd have to change the design up. I'm hoping that the support agent was wrong, but now I'm confused. Maybe I didn't quite no how to ask the question. Now I'm confused all over again. I'm hoping what you told me is correct. May I ask how you came to the conclusion that it's okay? Not questioning your answer. Just questioning the differing responses and which direction I should go
Creating Canva Frames may be a bit of a gray area but IMO that is no longer the same file. However in this case of simply grabbing a design to turn into a Canva frame, I would adjust it in some way. Very simply but I would. Let's say you download a quote, Add some hearts or some other elements and THEN make your canva frame to sell. I am going off of this license here for FULL POD www.creativefabrica.com/subscription-license/ when answering your POD question. but there really isn't anything in their license that mentions taking a design and essentially re-formatting it to sell in a different way.
I use CorelDraw and unfortunately the PSD file export doesn't work properly with Canva. The PDF file however, did. I had made a gift tag shape with a ribbon hole and the PDS file ignored the hole when adding the image to the 'frame'. I also had to use the "vector image fill" rather than image clipping for some reason. (Shrug) Computers are strange lol
Perfect!! Thanks a million
You are so welcome!
I still can't do it, because in canva I can't insert psd files
What happens when you try to upload the PSD?

Frustrating! Did you double check your layers panel to make sure it looks right prior to saving the PSD?
@@sellingdigital Same thing happens for me, and I tripled checked it. Cannot delete just the image.
Same here, first time through worked like a charm, after that no image only delete in Canva. So frustrating!
@@sellingdigital I believe so. Is that part the same on figma as in photopeam
What if the SVG file has multiple layers? How to merge them into one layer for clipping mask or fill them with image? Thanks
That is the same question I have

Hey Ashley!
What do you recommend, starting a whole new Etsy shop from scratch or rebranding a new Etsy shop from your old failed one?
I would revamp but there is a boost for new stores so it can be a tough decision.

Wow so frustrating. Great idea with the gift tag. Happy you got it to work.
So, can we take this tutorial a step further.... How about shadows and highlights? Thanks
Absolutely! Ill add this to my list!
I still can't do it
Can you tell me what step you are getting stuck on? Maybe I can help!
