Bro actually gave us an entire muffin recipe (gonna try it)! The recipe, as written, for anyone who wants it (*please see replies first*): - 2 cups flour - 1 TBLS salt - 2 TSP baking powder - 1 cup blueberries - 1 cup butter, melted - 2 TBLS sugar - 1 cup love - 1½ cups milk
@@8thPlaceDave I just had my first muffin, still warm from the oven! Firstly, thank you for the recipe. I followed it exact, even if I didn't always agree with it. I agree the they need more sugar. I found them to be rather salty (was one TBLS salt really correct?), but I actually like salt (seriously; I salt almost everything I eat), so it's still a win! Honestly, the rather remind me of tea biscuits, or scones! I look forward to experimenting with the recipe! I think I had oven trouble or something though, because they came out undercooked. Could be that I padded what was left of the blue berries with mixed berries (different water contents, and all). Idk how I'd rate it, I'd say it's like a 7 ;) *Actually better than that, just couldn't resist the meme.
@@The_Arisen Haha wow that is impressive you actually made them. To be honest, this recipe is something I quickly wrote out just before I went to film the video, and I kind of just randomly wrote out ingredients and amounts that I thought seemed somewhat believable, hah...
My dog Jace helps me out with card storage by knocking them off the table and taking deck boxes outside. So far he's been unsuccessful at burying them!
1:00 LOL I unironically did use a tub of margarine (and a rubber band) to hold my cards during early highschool. I think my kid logic was, why would I spend pocket money on a box when that money could be used to get more cards and snacks? Unfortunately, I lost the margarine tub (and all my cards) on the train going home from school one day - I didn't notice the train was pulling into my station until the doors were about to close. I hurriedly grabbed my backpack and ran out the door, accidentally leaving the tub on my seat (since I'd been looking at them during the ride). At least the experience taught me to be a lot more mindful about my belongings on public transport, lol 😭🤣
I cried at the rubber band schoolyard, and died laughing at the vintage 90’s cookie tin. Those things were the best most sacred sought after containers!
I got one of those butter cookie tins for christmas. AND IT HAD COOKIES IN IT! I haven't eaten it yet but man I can't wait to be 40 years older and using it for storage.
It's funny that everything is accurate up to number 8. I did have mtg cards in the cupboard when I was younger. Can't say I've ever kept them in the fridge.
if I were to open up that pack of I Can't Believe It's Not Butter, I would believe it wasn't butter. Rather, I would believe it was Magic: The Gathering cards.
I wonder how many others are like me and have binders for the different colors and then put the matching color cards together. Separated of course by creatures, instants, sorcery, enchantment, etc. most who see it think I’m crazy for some reason but idk I like it for looking through cards more than just boxes. But I will agree it may not be the best space saver…
AH yes. Schoolyard style. The memories. Throwing cards against a wall to see which one will land closer to the wall. Winner takes all. Peak Magic gameplay !
I love buying a precon, taking out the money cards than replacing with penny to dollar cards and than using without sleeves. While held together by elastics. It tilts some people, it causes some people to borrow my deck and orgasm over playing with sleeveless damaged cards reliving golden days of the schoolyard.
It is so much fun. My buddy will come over to pickup the decks when he is playing nights where I work. I agree when sleeves cost more than the deck than why sleeve? XD
Seriously though, have 1200+ cards in hard top loaders and need a better way to store them. (Don't even get me started on the 100 slabs I own, no idea of a great way to store that many (have them in the safe stacked atm, but almost out of room).

Note how the para- I mean, *secure* approach also ensures that your cards are kept in a dry location to prevent water damage in storage!
“What are you doing?”
“Checking on the flattening process of my pringled foils”
The last deck is the fabled, never before seen, Power Level 11 deck. Some say it wins on turn 0 95% of the time.
That deck is worth more than a house
I still have my shoebox. It is about 10 years old now. Doesn't get much better than that
Amateur. My collection is untouched from 2008 !
(more seriously: hello fellow hoarder !)
Should have had Budget Schoolyard, which is just putting them into a plastic baggy, no rubber band.
I think you might've missed a few #10 Risky (cards in freezer bag in toilet tank) and #11 Dangerous (duct-taped in the fireplace flue)😂
cant forget about the recycled box gang, got my cards spread between mtg and pokemon gift bundle boxes
The butter cookie tin hurt my soul in an inexpressible way
My dog Jace helps me out with card storage by knocking them off the table and taking deck boxes outside. So far he's been unsuccessful at burying them!
The ultra budget, definitely going to feature that on our show. Everyone's deck boxes will be ultra budget, with a side of grandma's house ofc

#7 was actually my childhood long term storage plan
I remember the days of holding my decks together with rubber bands. I would tell them apart by the different colors of the bands 🤣
I got one of those butter cookie tins for christmas. AND IT HAD COOKIES IN IT! I haven't eaten it yet but man I can't wait to be 40 years older and using it for storage.
Randomly scattered across my deck
The rubber band takes me back. Before deck boxes it was ziploc bags. And then the rubber band revolutionized how you carried your cards
I'm just imagining Walter White trying to hide his modern deck in the vents.
He only collects pure mono-Blue
@@DFGdanger broooooo!! golden comment
I'm a mix of traditional + about a dozen or two leftover dragon sleeves boxes labeled with a sharpie
Grandma box was my storage for years ❤
#9 reminded me of high school, when I would hide 40s of Old English in the toilet tank of my mom's bathroom.
Okay, Grandma's house got an honest to god guffaw out of me. I don't even know what a guffaw is, but that's the only word that explains it.
;)
The cookie tin WASN'T a sewing kit? What sorcery is this?
I wonder what the molemen under dave's floor thought of the last one
They told me they play stax
I prefer the freezer for storing my cards. Gotta keep them nice and straight
It's funny that everything is accurate up to number 8. I did have mtg cards in the cupboard when I was younger. Can't say I've ever kept them in the fridge.
It's a good way to keep them fresh
The granma's house still gives me uneasy feelings, we all been there...
It's wierd but I like the storage box made from magic cards.

i got DQed for adding 3 tbsp sugar to my blueberry muffins

I actually did film a part with binders too, but cut it because the video was getting long!
Ultra-Budget looked cool I'm a do something like that!
I thought there was going to be a deck box under the magic singles when it came to decoy
AH yes. Schoolyard style.
The memories.

Wait that's not how I'm supposed to be playing magic?
OMG, Grandma's blueberry muffins call for an entire cup of butter!?! I only use 3 tbsp....
I think maybe she meant to write butter in the title instead of blueberry

That sounds like a pretty fun thing to do ;)
I can confirm it is a lot of fun. People ask me why I don’t sleeve, but my reply is that the sleeves are worth 4 times the deck.
It is so much fun. My buddy will come over to pickup the decks when he is playing nights where I work.

3,5 and 7 are the way to go,also number 10 is actually called "the crackhead method" 😂😂😂😂😂😂awesome

For the love of God don't put rubberbands around them!! Oooh the humanity!!!
One of the funniest magic skits out there!
Then there is me that is combination of all the budget fancy and other things lol
Vintage: Starter Deck Box
not gonna lie, I was hoping this was gonna be an informative video instead of a comedy one lol. Petition for you to talk about storage options!
I just might do that ;)
Im looking for some deckboxes, and I came across this, do you mind telling me what the deck box is in 4 and 9 please?
They are Ultimate Guard deck boxes. I think a Sidewinder and Twin Flip N' Tray
@@8thPlaceDave Thank you so much, I got an 1000 card deck box and had no way of organizing them into decks, ill have to look into this
I have nearly all my cards in a huge bin... Not very tidy
The "schoolyard" brought me so many memories 🥲
i literally keep my deck on a butter cookies can
I store mine in the boxes my phone's come in.
