A funny moment was the scene where there are mattresses on the floor when Chalice entered was falling but she instead safely landed in the trash bin full of mud and with a banana peel and her just being of shock from when she fell
To be fair in the long run falling in the bin would be safer because mattresses can be hard on that kind of impact and mud is kinda squishy :D

In season 1 Mugman would sound like a broken car when he saw him, Cuphead would have nightmares of him, Stickler was his servant and wouldn't disobey him this much, Hencman would be scared to correct him, He had successful bissunes with carnival and roll the dice show. And he was actually feared by both his enemies and his own demons. Look how they massacared my boy, well at least he wasn't as weak as he was in season 2
I'm really glad that someone finally agrees that this season had the best quality in its episodes (comedy wise), even with the absence of new bosses

@@Pogobro absolutely, loved how he got focused on more and kinda got treated as a silly villain (applying to the theatre, wanting a choo-choo, playing with a yarnball) while also being terrifying and doing his Devil™ thing
its very rare to see kids shows with funny dark humor.
It’s not over . The crew has stated multiple times that it can very well be renewed if we keep streaming the series and boosting it !

my favorite scene in the show was when the devil was a cat in elder cattels lap just the awkwardness was so funny i loved it

The only real complaint that I have is that we didn’t need two Christmas episodes, in a row, the second one was fun but we didn’t need two of them
Just replace the first Christmas episode with a Grim Matchstick episode and we’ll be fine

I really liked how the devil was a big part of like more than half the season, meanwhile season 2 only had him in like 2 episodes. But the fact that there were literally zero new boss episodes was depressing, but at least theres a chance next season is happening and if so we are getting a phantom express episode and a Wally warbles episode

@@liammq9548 Season 1 was 36 epsiodes and was all that was asked for to see how it went. It got split into 3 seasons. Since the show is doing good, it's more than likely we're going to get "season 2", or season 4 onwards

I'll be honest, I was disappointed by the first half of the season (minus episode 1). For me, episodes 2-6 just felt like filler episode. Bunch of random gags. But the OTHER half was amazing! The ongoing story, Ms chalice's origin, and that finale was just what I needed! So this season was a 6/10 for me.

To be honest Chalice’s backstory was a tiny bit tragic but to me it didn’t seem all that gloom and gray for her…

Agreed but depends on episodes. Really hated episode 2 where they returned baby bottle idea which was a very bad episode in season 1 for me. Was a bit disappointed that they didn't showed more boss episodes like the sally Stageplay in this season. But I really liked the Christmas episode and the dance battle. Too much devil screentime even it was good but also annoyed me a bit. Lorewise great season but season 2 is still my favorite

If there is a season 4, I’d like it to have the story of the game Cuphead. Seeing the game in this version of Cuphead would be interesting to see.
imo this season leaps and bound ahead of season 2 quite alot. And i consider season 2 to be a masterpiece. yeah.
i LOVE this season so much. pretty much 70% of the episode is a 9/10 for me. its just such a great funny time. everything set up and payed off greatly. the devil is insanely delightful and might be one of my favorite cartoon characters in recent years. The only problem is no more new bosses which is kinda minor for me.
I think overall it doesnt hit the highest of season 2,being a delightfully creepy and insanely off the wall cartoon, but it doesnt hit the rock bottom of season 2 for having some very boring episode and cuphead being a piece of poop. so i think this season played a bit safer but deliver on a higher note.
i love it so much and it is one of my favorite pieces of kids media i've seen.
Honestly my favorite season is probably still season 2 but i still liked season 3 a lot too. Also The Devil vs Ms.Chalice dance battle theme slaps

As far as the lore of The Cuphead Show, season 3 is the best. Season 2 is still my favorite season because it felt like there was more variety in the episodes, but season 3 was just much darker and I love that about it. The humor was also done well. I'd give season 3 a 9/10.
I feel like there's gonna be another season because seasons 1, 2, and 3 are basically one whole season just divided into different parts

What I love about season 3 is that they focused more on the plot of the story instead of random episodes where cuphead and Mugman go on a random and chaotic adventure. They focused way more on the devil. And they set up the end beautifully where you don’t know if you will expect a season 4 like the game or if there is no season 4 and it leaves you off at where the game takes place.
I’m sad you didn’t bring up telephone and how his voice is perfect for his object!
I'm hoping that Netflix renews the show so I can get an episode of my boy Cagney Carnation😭

The actor playing King Dice is Wayne Brady. He is the current host of Let's Make a Deal on CBS daytime television (which I think is part of the joke). The ladies running the orphanage being penguins is a reference to catholic runs orthridges be staffed by nuns. A Common joke on the idea of them wearing the black and white robes.
season 1,2, and 3 were all just mashed into season 1 so there will probably be more seasons

5:52 definitely Mugman got his hand possessed somehow. Because he made fun of Mugman's joke the first time he tried to use it, and then made the routine about making fun of Mugman. He isnt the self deprecating type so I think Mugman was genuinely angry about being clowned on by this wooden hand puppet.

I agree this is the best season yet, some people are disappointed there aren't any new bosses which I understand, but I don't really mind that much because I like the main cast (especially the devil)

It would be cool to see the game a bit in season 4. What I mean is (SPOILERS) At the end of season 3 we can see the casino. Maybe cuphead will gamble. Yada yada yada. You know he loses and all that. Then the devil tells him to get all the soul contracts just like the game. And in pork rinds you can see the spread shot, pea shooter, and chaser. Since there is 3 cups. Chalice, cuphead, and Mugman. All 3 of them will get one of those weapons. I think chalice would get chase. Mugman peashooter. And cuphead spread. Hopefully they do this but it would be cool not to see that
If you look closely in the episodes 1 and 8 from season 1, in the scene of Elder Kettle making hotcakes you can peashooter and Smoke Bomb in the background of the house

here’s s a bonus question what’s y’all’s ranking of every character in the show? here’s mine, so here’s how I did it, so I decided to give bowlboy his own tier since he is such a menace 😂 and I put a tier called “they exist” and that’s for characters that I have literally nothing to say about cause they were only on screen for a couple of seconds and let’s be honest how are you gonna rank someone that is pretty much just a nothing character

I’d love to see more cuphead show, but I’m in the same boat in thinking it’s probably the end. I personally think the show was at its lowest in the disguise episode and at its highest in the king dice redemption episode. It was so awesome to see dice back as his old self again, regardless of his villainy.
This season made Henchman one of my favourite characters. I just love his vibe.
I was also happy to see The Devil shine more in this season.
As for the other characters: I like them even more now, the team did an excellent job on expending them/utalizing their previously established traits.
I loved the humor too and the second Christmas episode is the part of the collection of my personal favourite Christmas related media (along with Arthur Christmas, The Grinch, Arthur's Perfect Christmas, Garfield's Christmas special, The Most Horrible X-mas ever, Froggy Little Christmas, Heartbreakers from MLP G4, and X-mas Story from Futurama).
Why did Cuphead and Mugman think that Robby and Croaks wanted to kill them, when it is shown in their debut episode that they are now their friends?
I think cause right after that they immediately go back to be angry and fighting eachother when the club is destroyed

This show was what got me into the game. I got obsessed with everything Cuphead and 1930s (still partially am) and I'm currently on the Devil Bossfight in the game. I love this show and season 3 because of the humor and I especially love the christmas episode cause it's so goshdarn wholesome (reminds us that cuphead is really just a kid who gets into alot of trouble) and my favorite out of all was the Ms. Chalice backstory and dance scene. She became one of my favorite characters ever and I love how Cuphead saves her in the end. Only bad thing I can say about this is that the ending to the show wasn't really the best. It's supposed to imply this is where the game events take place but Chalice is there too which kinda screws up the lore since they boys don't meet her until you beat the Maulseom (however tf you spell it) where she's supposed to be some goddess from greek times or whatever. Anyway, 9.3/10 Stars, this show is amazing.

This is season 1, it's not 3 seasons. Deeki Deke (one of the writers) showed pictures of other storyboard work they did on Twitter so Season 4 (it's actually season 2) is still a possibility just waiting for the show to get renewed

this season proves that the show is indeed cannon specificly before the game why
well here why 1: have you noticed how normal the bosses are to seeing cuphead and mugman almost like they know them will in the game elder kettle says this: you frineds wont be so friendly once you talk about there soul contract, this could be further proofed by hilda Berg just randomly waving it them in them
2: miss chalice ability to turn into a ghost now that is something that i think we will see in season 4(if it is going to be made) my thought that cuphead and mugman will do a deal with the devil specifly the one in the game and chalice will get the magical power from the museumlyms to help cuphead and mugman and will get trapped and i am assuming this will happen in the last episode because it like a confirmation that this is happening in the game canon the rest of the game is the completing the story. now you probably not saying:well why is legendary chalice looks nothing like chalice ghost in the show sometimes you have to let somethings pass in game lore i mean it's not like they were planing on making the show when they were working in the game plus in the dlc ms chalice ghost looks just like the show

Yeeeeah....although Chalice's backstory is completely different, baroness Von Bon Bon literally wouldn't be able to bet anything with the devil and ms chalice in the game doesn't have the ability to go ghost to normal at will and needs a cookie from salty man lol so pretty sure this is still it's own universe separate from the game
no it doesn't hell if anything it actually kind of prooves that it isn't one especially considering that the context of the scene in the show isn't even the same as in the show also you do realize that elder kettle was saying the word friends in a sarcastic manner right there's even quotation marks around that word and if their friends with cuphead and mugman why do they try to kill them continuesly

I want to see Cagney, but, as much as I want more Cuphead content, always, I'm scared of the possibility of another season. What if it'll ruin it? How will it fit in the plot? How can they deal with miss Chalice and the dlc....? The X-mas episode with the Devil was too cringey for me... Over all the season had some super funny cool gems like Cuphead getting hit by the bush and the Devil's pitchfork was actually part of a set 😆😆😆😆😆
I think we deserve, if not NEED a Season 4 but you never know about Netflix...

so you know the episode where the devil has to collect a soul to make the bubbles pop? and stuff in bubbles are stuff the devil cherishes? i found it so wholesome and heartwarming that henchman was in a bubble because it shows devil and henchman actually have a connection unlike your typical antagonist who absolutely despises their henchmen.
I like watching your videos they are so fun, another thing I would like to say I like your lore videos, for explanation I thought the lore relating to glumtostone was amazing.

I think in season 4, events might play out like they do in the game, considering how they are possibly foreshadowing the cups getting powers with the finger-bullets thing.

In the first episode cuphead is trying to not tell elder kettle that the devil took his brother,mugman, and the creepiest part of the first episode is after the devil took mugman cuphead was saying the name of his brother all the way home
It really goes to show how
1: How much Cuphead and Mugman care for each other
2: How Cuphead is likely used to being blamed for everything that goes wrong (while some things are his fault he is also an immature kid in the show. The Devil could’ve likely overpowered Cuphead but wanted to mentally traumatize him and make Mugman give up hope on his brother in the process.)
3: What losing someone close to you can do to people whether it’s grief or extreme separation anxiety taking someone or something that someone loves can have a huge impact on how they act.
(Sorry i’m a nerd and love Cuphead lol)

Tbh season 3 was fine…it was just some episodes were a little bad but what I like about this season was the Christmas specials there were so good and I liked how the devil got more screen time he was super funny but what I think about this season was 7/10

the first 3 seasons where actually all written as one big season, so it was probably written BEFORE the DLC came out. If there are any more seasons then we will for sure get DLC stuff!

Hey pogo, I wanted to make this comment for one reason, You Love Cala Maria a lot. And they Biggest Mystery of Cuphead is The Scar on her arm. It somehow appears only in gorgon form, but during the chase scene, the scar is nowhere to be seen. In both non gorgon and gorgon form we can see it. But before cala was even in the show, I thought it was caused by Brinybeard, but it seems too Mysterious because of what I just said. So what is the scar's Purpose? How old is cala? And who even is she? Why didn't they bring back here in season 3? You need to Officially make the Cala Maria Lore Video! Now!
