- Day 24 of our road trip we spend the day in Palo Duro Canyon State Park, the "Grand Canyon of Texas" It is the 2nd largest canyon in the U.S. What a beautiful day it was, sunny skies, warm weather and we went inside a BIG cave!

I loved seeing those butterflies by the yellow flowers, a beautiful sign of spring! We used to have house centipedes, so I much prefer seeing them in nature! Coffee and cinnamon rolls is the perfect way to end an adventure!
Thanks Jess! Yeah we don't have centipedes in our area so it was cool to see them :) Yes I am always happy ending an adventure with Coffee :) lol

That red earth with the blue sky is so amazing. Very cool seeing the millipede and capturing that centipede running! Argh those things move too fast! 😦

I have been to that park before. I really enjoyed it. Mr. Martini was doing oil work in that area. And we went out to that park when visiting him in the field.

You know you're in Texas in when you see longhorns along side the road! We were very excited to see Palo Duro, and it definelty didn't disappoint. The Big Cave was an awesome feature to hike to. During your visit, the landscape, sky & fall flowers were so vibrant! The music you chose perfectly complimented the images. Really enjoyed watching this one! Have a great week! 👍😊
Yes, love seeing the longhorns! Aww thanks, so glad you enjoyed the video! It is an awesome place to see, there are some great long hikes at this park I bet you would enjoy. There is on that takes you out to a "Lighthouse" looking rock formation. I really wanted to do that one, but we had a long drive, and the grandparents traveled with us on this trip so no long hikes for us... Thank you on complimenting the music, I tell my husband that picking the music is sometimes the hardest part of editing a video, but I am constantly learning :) Thank you guys for watching we really appreciate your nice comments and the time you take to watch :)

Hi and thanks, Adventures Are Out There for taking us to "Palo Duro Canyon State Park. It's embarrassing to say that I was totally wrong about "Long Horn," which produces "Angus Beef." It's nice to learn " Long Horn" cows🐮 produce the healthiest beef. Wow...butterflies and bees 🦋are busy pollinating flowers@0:47 even in October. What's the stunning view of the cave and the sky! plus little cave creatures...How high did you climb? Your videos are all very informative and I am amazed by your technique to make transitions. You must have an excellent editing program. Well done. 😊😊

Hello there, my friend. Amazing trip again, this time in a beautiful place in Texas. The scenery around the grand canyon is gorgeous, and the climb around the cave seemed so exhausting, yet the view was just so amazing. You guys made it to the top. The centipede would surely scare me if I were there. Great adventure as always! I’m sorry for the late response again. I hope you have a lovely weekend with the family.

The color of that soil looks unreal, doesn't it??? Or clay rather? What a gorgeous area! We used to live in Austin or rather Georgetown for ten years and didn't take advantage of the location to see this type of stuff in TX. Would love to return. - Theresa

After driving from the east this was a great change of scene. You have captured some of the magical colours of this canyon. You had some great weather to explore here. I loved Palo Duro! I did the CCC Trail and the Lighthouse Trail on my visit, so it was cool to see the Big Cave, which I didn't get a chance to see in person! Also enjoyed the flowers you were able to catch 👍
I would to have loved to do the lighthouse trail!! Maybe one day when we visit it again :) Yea the cave was really neat! The temperature cooled down a lot once we got inside, which felt nice on a hot day :) Thanks so much for watching!
