I haven't camped at Palo Duro, but I've camped at several state parks including Garner which might have a similar environment. The camping is usually pretty nice.

The head mount seems to work well.
I'm guessing this video was from several weeks ago since you didn't mention the tornado that did so much damage to the RV park. It's been quite a few years since we were in Palo Duro, we need to schedule a return visit. Not this year tho, we are in San Antonio area for a week then west on I10

Yes it's from last fall. I kept pushing it back as other videos took priority then I decided to wait until spring. Wow that's crazy. Just recently I released a video a bit delayed only to find out the courthouse, my first shot in the video, had burned down.
