Just started watching your vids brother… I’m hooked and had to order me one of those “Zook” rods farso! I’m local (Pascagoula) and been down recouping from back surgery… Getting my boat back in shape and all my tackle. Hope to see you out there soon! Keep the vids coming! 🕷️
I had the same problem of forgetting my hat. So now I keep spares in the boat and sunglasses also. Nice trip. O that visor leaves you a 😇. I know unfortunately
Definitely a good idea to keep spare hat and shades in boat. I had a foggy morning trip a few years back, about a 12 mile run to the spot, didn’t realize I had forgot my shades until I got to spot and sun was starting to come up. Ended up being miserable so had to cut the trip short. Long story short, I keep an extra pair in my dry box now.
I drove to the West side of the GP complex and scoped out the parking area by the beach. The whole time I was thinking it wouldn't be too hard to drag a kayak or pirouge to the water and paddle out to the rocks. Or possibly wade fish there. Your Yaker in the background may have inspired me! Do you think it's worth a Go? Thinking, might be able to pick off some Mangroves close to the jetties too.

Best place to launch yak is the west side of Island View Casino. You can park in that parking area and launch from beach
