Undefined Feelings (VCV Rack)

This piece came out entirely different than planned, but finally, I liked it more than the original plan.
It has three sections: The slow and calm beginning and end is about a kind of septet of violas (that appear to have learned how to sound a bit like bagpipes at the same time), one of each is responsible for a single note of the c-minor scale, and they might play a long wave of their note randomly, starting with only root and fifth, then the third joins, then fourth, then sixth, then second, and finally the seventh, before they leave the ensemble in reverse order again. They rarely play all together but if they - or many of them - do, they might briefly turn into an undefined sound cluster rather than harmonies of the c-minor scale. Later they are joined by a bass drone and a bunch of high strings. The middle part is in strong contrast to this, with sequenced patterns, drum rhythms and melodic phrases, even though the septet and its accompanying bass and strings are almost always active in the background.
