Only about 3 seconds from the time he started firing til the opposing round impacted. So the sniper fired 2 seconds or so after he started firing. He’s incredibly lucky because someone out there was watching that spot.

Sure, but he had to actually aim at his target which takes a few seconds. The difference between this and some other Middle East Warzone footage where they just blind fire while holding their rifle/lmg out while remaining in cover.
It's not always practical to move and shoot when engaging from a fixed or improvised fighting position guy. What was he supposed to do in that situation, run and dive out the window and shoot as he fell to earth?

Only about 3 seconds from the time he started firing til the opposing round impacted. So the sniper fired 2 seconds or so after he started firing. He’s incredibly lucky because someone out there was watching that spot.
The sniper obviously had that window zeroed in because they used it too often as a firing position .

Remember in combat to never stay in a window longer than necessary. Shoot from back in the room. People train to shoot at rectangles with people on them. And a window is a target.
