Noice vid I actually cleared my 1st ever 150 using Tal Rasha at 2k paragons, with good augmented ancient gear at the time of course. Some extra tips for new players wishing to clear their first ever 150 using Tals this season: > Run with the templar as your follower. Unless you are currently at 4k to 6k above paragons, he will be your BIS (Best-in-slot) follower, due to his Heal ability which scales with Cooldown Reduction and his very powerful follower cheat death. You can roll off the follower gear's main stat to strength by doing it on any level 1 seasonal barb or sader. > Stack as much as 1.1 million HP pool. Reason is because wizard shield scale with your current HP pool. Hence more HP = more shield = more Squirt's uptime. How i achieved this was putting in 500 paragon pts in vit, and socketing 3 amethyst gems in my helm and pants. I never socket Rubies or Emeralds for more armor, because the damage reduction it offers does not scale well in builds relying on shields. (Wudijio actually has a video explaining that in his YT) > You need a Halo of Karini with MINIMUM, yes MINIMUM 78% secondary affix (The max is 80%). Any lower than that and its practically useless as it along with your shields are your main source of protection. My recommendation is to wear a Ring of Royal Grandeur first and cube the Karini, until you find a decent one with the correct rolls and high secondary, even if its non-ancient. > As Gitum pointed out, the name of the pushing game is fish, fish, fish. Be prepared to farm a lot of keys, only to throw them away by continuously looking for that one good rift. Some open maps you can look out for are: - 4 corner Festering (There's also a sewer layout, so if you get that, insta leave) - Fields of misery (You get this along with good mob type, guaranteed clear) - 4-corner Battlefields of Eternity - Shrouded Moors, desert layout are also quite good (I tend to avoid Desolate Sands map, because its too big and the mobs are very sparse) - Maps to insta leave at all cost if its your first map: Halls of Agony, Keeps, Corvus aka Door-vus, Spaghetti map, all caves layout. etc. Essentially any maps with alot of corridoors and obstacles in between are a big no no. > Unless you are aiming for top leaderboard clears or even a better personal best (PB), grab all the pylons you find. Hope this helps, and may the RNG-Gods bless you with your first ever GR150 clear Btw, Raxx has an older video on his YT which explains more in details on GR pushing, including what mob types to look out and to avoid.
@@Gitum Happy to help! Another question I often see popping up either in the in-game chat or streams is, when should you transition from Guardians to Aughlids? The general consensus is usually between 2k to 2.5k gons, but again its very subjective. I personally opted to swap out Guardians as early as 1.1k gons, simply for the extra damage from Aughlids and Squirts, and also owing to plenty of experience playing Tals during S27. I think as long as you managed to put enough paragon points in vit (Mine was initially 300 at the time) and once you get comfortable with the playstyle, you can opt to swap out even faster than 2k gons.
Dang it!! You make it looks so easy,,,I do GR140+ but above that I need maybe a new strategy and/or starting to use Black Hole. I'm loving my setup but I miss something. Love the vids!! :D
use black hole!! I'm playing wizard (for the first time ever) and trying for a 150... My games got so much better after I used black hole. Currently on gr147 and fishing for the next tier :D Good luck
Thanks Peter! Black Hole is awesome! It's really useful for pulling stubborn enemies up a bit to chase you and can add a ton of extra burst damage with the Absolute Zero rune. It sounds counterintuitive, but I often spam a few meteors before using black hole to benefit from the taunting effect of the meteor. Once they group themselves up, the Absolute Zero rune can double your damage on a good cast. Keep me posted with your progress! :)
@@Gitum I'm working 10-12 hours a day this week at work, so my clear will prolly be on friday or saturday... I did clear a 147 last night, so maybe I will fish for a 148 after work if I have the energy
@@Gitum thx, but I'm not happy yet.. and I have just farmed lower rifts, so forgot my bane of the powerful was in my build and pushed with that bad gem :D lol
Very nice! Good luck! I'm trying to get my sentry build in good shape to pull it off as well. I can start off okay with Marauder, but I haven't been able to clear it in under 15 yet. Keep me posted!
I just cleared my 150 on Trags earlier, clocking a not-so-impressive 14.34. (Curse you Rime!) Definitely a slight learning curve for me, since you have to avoid over-DPS-ing in order to take advantage of Bloodtide Blade mechanics, as well as making the decision of saving the pylons or just "screw-it-i'm-clicking-it"
@@Gitum Haha I was attempting Marauder 150 pushes earlier. At 4k gons and with good optimized gear, I feel I can DPS, but again its so squishy I end up dying alot (hearing my female DH moan so many times when she dies kinda pains me ) A good buddy of mine who mains DH and also one of the best zDH i've known have suggested getting at least 1mil HP, since its such a squishy build. I'm also gonna be doing Nats pushes. Its funny that prior to season start, people were like shitting all over the Nats rework, saying things like "Oh the spin-2-win version is gone", "Man the rework sucks!", "Its so clunky". And now look at the DH LBs. And that kids, is why you shouldn't judge too fast on reworks
@@jammin_maestro Maybe I should try Nats! I have been saving all of my Natalya's gear all season and have yet to even put it all together lol. It's actually quite a lot better than my Marauder set. I really should try it haha.

Tonight (Central Europe) I finally made a significant progress. I'm confident I will clear 140 tomorrow. This build can do, I however am very comfy type of person, so I lack that drive to push even higher, also my PL is still below 2k and some key gear pieces are far from ideal, but I guess hitting 140 will be more than satisfactory. 🙂 Cheers!
@@Gitum Yo dude, I finally found a few spare moments tonight, 3 GR 140 out of 3 down (had to fish for maps a bit and the best result was 10:02, which is very solid, I still didn't hit 2k PL, I merely crafted nice Grand Vizier - AoE + % dmg). Bottom line I'm really happy so far. Cheers! 🙂
@@Gitum Hello again, dude! I hope you're having a blast and tons of fun playin' D4. I finished 142 BTW and also am tempted to give the Star Pact setup a shot. I'm aware Comet is definitely more casual friendly configuration, but I do like the graphic effect of Star Pact more, as well as the fact that Wizard has mastered the arcane power afterall, which simply beckons to give it a go. Any tips? 🙂
@@jerryrose7 Hey! Good luck with Starpact! D4 has been a blast so far. I'd say make sure to change your paragon levels to max out arcane power for more Starpact burst. You should join if you're not too attached to your clan. Haha I did GR a crazy number of GR 134's last season for those gems! Good luck on your push towards 150 :)
In season 28 with all of the power that we get from the Altar of Rites and how strong Tal Rasha Meteor, is, it can be done at roughly ~1400. During the first week of season 28, there were already over 1,000 clears of paragon 150 with Tal Rasha :)
@@meeekeeey Are you running the necro starter set, aka Masquerade Bone Spear, or Trag'oul, or other necro build?
