About us:
We're Jack & Megan, and in late 2020 we sold our belongings and packed our lives into our 2005 Toyota Troop Carrier to travel Australia. Our original plan was to complete a full lap of Australia and return home to Perth to resume our 'normal' lives. We decided we wanted to document our lap for the future and began sharing weekly travel vlogs of our life on the road and fell in love vlogging, filmmaking and sharing our lives with you. We completed our first lap and couldn't imagine living any other way so we decided to continue travelling and calling the Troopy home. We have gone on some crazy adventures since then and it is all thanks to you tuning in to join us every week.

I don’t comment often on anyone that I follow, which is wide & varied. But please don’t manufacture it to be an Insta’ story with glitz & glam, turning yourself inside out spending hours videoing & thinking of storyline’s etc and then missing the important moments of your life & travels together.
I particularly liked your first lap as you guys were simply being yourselves. At the end of the day, that is all any of us can be. Just don’t fake it because that has a price too. Cheers

Very nice video, especially having just a phone! And you're setting up quite the challenge, doing 3 a week. Here's another challenge for you: how about a cross-over episode with another touring/adventure channel? Maybe Tyler Thompson, Fire-to-fork, or Trip-in-a-van, etc. might want to meet up with you guys.

Thoroughly enjoyed this episode. Your honesty is why I love watching your channel. Your transparency in your VLOGs just works. They feel genuine and real. Plus your brilliant editing makes each one a pleasure to watch. No overdrawn and boring parts. Love it. If you ever go past Port Macquarie in NSW, there is a place there called Ricardoes Tomatoes & Strawberries. You can also pick your own strawberries. The difference with theirs is all their strawberries (& tomatoes) are hydroponically grown, and their café/shop offer various tomatoes and strawberries based food.

Incidentally, when you visited the dam at Proserpine, in the middle of the valley where the dam now sits, is the old station house I grew up in about 30 meters under the water. Love this style of vlog. You are both so raw and real. So refreshing and so relatable. And so inspiring! Your filming and editing is really professional and it really feels as if we are along for the ride - whatever happens. If you think the midgees are bad up north it’s the same all the way down the Qld coastline or anywhere where there is water and mangroves. Happy to watch once, twice or three times a week. Just don’t burn out in the process. And keep on being you. Like you, we search out the quieter locations and prefer the sounds of the wildlife to those of other people.

Berry picking is great. We went in Beechworth Vic and the fruit, about 20 different types of berries, was awesome. But the kids hated it... too hot, blowies the size of strawberries... 😂 It really was great fun though and the berries were the best we've ever had.

Ha guys, just a suggestion try a RODE mic for your phone. It what l us and it changed the quality that is as good if not better then what my Sony can record. Today's phones can produce awesome stuff beyond what most people realise. Keep up the good family content as my kids love also watching your videos.

I wasn’t a fan of excursions either at school. I have the DJI magic drones, don’t use as much as swapped over to the Avata fpv drone.

Nice shot of the big old Goanna laying on the Log, i took a Photo years ago on Fraser Island of my Daughter standing in front of a Massive Tree at Gary's Anchorage Camp Grounds, only later after getting the Photo's back, did we see there was a big one on the Tree about a 1.5 metres above her looking down at Her.
Would have been awesome to see that photo and your reactions when you saw it hahah such amazing animals hey.

It has come to my notice that I think it is the personal and sometimes deep revelations that give your vids that appeal. It is the reason we all feel like we are along for the ride. I think you should look into getting yourselves a logo, bash the saying and get going........ VENTURE ON!!! (much better than giddy up) hahahhahaaha. Only joking, love giddy up to but its good to have something catchy. PS. What ever happened to the challenges? No mention for weeks now. They were fun.

Will never forget that day on the Great Northern highway I actually remember spotting you in the rear vision mirror and thinking to myself "no way it can't be Phil in the 200 series" what a bloody crack up! Once you had passed us that day I actually turned to Megan and said I think the FJ would have given him a good run for his money in a drag race hahaha.
Venture on isn't a bad idea hey! Will have to check google to see if its already been taken though. Yes the challenges we still want to do a few especially a catch and cook!!
